| Here she is at about 5 months, just after I had adopted her from an animal shelter. At first I had many reservations about having a deaf dog. There is a false conception that all deaf dogs are agressive and deserve to be euthanized. Nikky defies the stereotype. She is intelligent, affectionate, and extremely trustworthy. She responds quite well to the hand signals she knows such as sit, come, down, no, inside, ball, drop, among a few others. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
