Karen made her debut with Mildred's Umbrella in Mac Wellman's Dracula, and has since also performed in Marina Carr's By the Bog of Cats. Some of her other Houston theatre productions include A Doll's House (as Nora) and Eleemosynary (as Echo) with Company Onstage, for those who live in cities...(as the Vamp) with dos chicas, and Chapter Two (as Jennie) with Theatre Southwest. Karen has also performed in Infernal Bridegroom's Full Circle and Tamalalia series and and can be seen in the independant film Bitters and Other Natural Remedies.
Karen is a member of the Texas Mime Theatre, performing movement pieces for elementary students throughout the state.
