Christie Guidry
Christie earned her Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in Drama from Houston Community College SW where she graduated with Honors in 2002.  At H.C.C. she studied under the direction of John Corley.  She then went on to complete her B.A. in Drama from The University of St. Thomas.  At U.S.T. Christie was further trained by Sam Havens and Claire McDonald.  She graduated with Honors in 2004.
Christie made her
Mildred's Umbrella Theatre debut as Mina in Mac Wellman's Dracula in October 2004.  She was also seen as Caroline in Mildred's Umbrella Theatre's production of By the Bog of Cats.  Other notable Houston credits are Picnic (Madge), Nunsense II (Sr. Leo), Jungalbook (Sherakhan), For Those Who Live in Cities (The Lover), A Midsummer Nights Dream (Helena), Henry V (Princess Katherine), Macbeth (Lady Macduff), Private Eyes (Cory), Ruthless! (Louise), Defying Gravity (Elizabeth), Dancing at Lughnasa (Chris).  Christie has performed in two movies by Y-Guy Films and is a company member of dos chicas theatre commune as well.
