WHY WRESTLE? |
|
|
To paraphrase a president:
We choose to wrestle because it is hard. It serves to organize and measure the best of our abilities and skills. Not just physical, it requires mental smarts as well When we accept the challenge with the intention to win, we set our minds and our bodies upon a goal to be the best that we can be at that particular moment. We leave mediocrity and sameness behind. Going all out, we surpass our normal exertions. And we test ourselves to the fullest extent of our own abilities. |

During a match we rely upon ourselves and ourselves alone for it is agreed that we alone must protect ourselves and be knowledgeably responsible for the attacks needed to win. |
|
|
|
Wrestling is fluid. You never know what's going to happen. You have to have the body training to innately know what to do at any given second. You need smarts to figure out your opponent's strategy and effectively counter his or her moves. Especially in the more violent forms, you need cunning. None of this is needed in running for a bus, watching TV, climbing a mountain or swimming in the surf. |

|
|
Wrestling is a short period of time when you become more than what you normally think you are capable of doing. It's a moment in your life when you are overwhelmed and must handle it.
And properly when the wrestling is over, IT'S OVER. Thank the other person, congratulate the other person and happily look forward to your next match. |

|
WHY WOMEN WRESTLING? |
|
|
|
Women especially in the non-American world even today, are second class citizens. A 9-months pregnant woman cannot bring down an antelope for food. A man can do that at any time. Yet women throughout the ages have always risen to the challenge. The Roman Gladiatrix was real. There is excellent evidence that the tall, blue-eyed blond Amazon of Ancient Greece really did exist. |

|
Tribal conclaves of people had and have their wrestling women. These tribes are spread out all over the world.
The African Dahoume' tribe, for instance, had the most vicious, uncaring women warriors of all time. They would slit a man's throat and toss away his slave carcass with disdain. The Africans themselves brought slavery upon each other! The Dahoume' women were the biggest slavemongers ever. The Europeans arrived to trade. The Africans and especially the Dahoume' women would only trade their fellow-Africans that they themselves took as tribal war slaves. |

|
|
So the Europeans went back to the Pope in Rome to ask: "Can we trade pots and beads for people?" The Pope considered and then asked 'Can they be saved?', ie: can they be made to believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ? "If they can be saved, you may not take them as slaves. If they cannot, they are not people and you may take them as you would any other animal." |

|
So the Europeans went back down to Africa with Christian missionaries. They immediately demanded that the Africans leave their own religions and fall in line upon pain of eternal damnation. They were expelled from Africa forcibly and the Dahoume' women especially enjoyed cutting the missionaries' bodies into pieces for good measure. |
|
|
|
Hence, it was the Africans themselves who started The Golden Triangle of the slave trade. The Europeans didn't want to do it, but the Africans insisted! |
|
|
|
The United States Constitution ended the importation of slaves into America. Both the French and then the English had to go down to Africa with warships to stop the Africans from taking and trading in slaves. The Dahoume' women were recalcitrant. They turned against the Europeans with force and vengeance. These women were intractable. |
|
|
|
But to no avail. The white people stopped slavery in Africa. And the white people who were the Ancient Athenian Greeks and the American Founding Fathers showed the world a new idea called freedom and democracy. The last Dahoume' warrioress died a natural death in the 1980's. The white people held them in check throughout the 1800's. And the unbeatable ultra-deadly white technology of the 1900's ended their reign.
Finally, the Dahoume' women were beaten. |

So here we are in the 21st Century. In America, tyrants are attempting to remove our Constitutionally guaranteed Rights and Freedoms -- all in the name of "safety." It's a "safety" the government cannot provide. You will always be first and foremost on your own frontier. All the government can do is make you into its slave, pick up the pieces well after you were attacked and hopefully jail the perpetrators. |

|
|
Freedom requires personal responsibility. That includes self-responsibility for your own actions, choices, words, thoughts and personal safety and self-defense. |
|
|
|
Wrestling is a way to express your freedom. Its skills can help keep you safe. And the self-confidence it can bring you can change your life. Wrestling can empower women to feel strong, engage attackers with competent skill and support each other in developing individual capability. |
|
|
|
Throughout history it was known and shown that individuals are the only saviors in the most hellish spots on Earth. The tyrant will have you believe that the individual doesn't count. Wrestling will prove to you yourself that you the individual does count. Wrestling will show you that you can make a difference in at least your own world if you are empowered as an individual and not enslaved as a faceless peasant. |

|
The whole world can ONLY be changed one person at a time. Step out from the crowd and change your little world. World peace starts with the peace that comes from within the heart of an individual. Wrestling can give you that peace of mind and deliver peace to your heart.
Wrestling can change you for the better in so many ways that waiting around, hoping and praying cannot do. |
|
|
|
Women, choose to be active in empowering yourselves. Be unwilling to postpone accepting the challenges that come into your individual lives. Step onto the wrestling mat or carpet and change your lives for the better by unshackling yourself from convention. |
|
|
|
Wrestling is the most natural kind of fighting there is in the entire animal kingdom. Lionesses use their bodies to knock down their food prey. And then the life and death wrestling begins. |
|
|
|
Women are capable of learning any type of fighting. But wrestling is the most natural and easiest to learn. You need only become aware of your own body and how it works. Then be aware of the other body coming at you.
Hence, women wrestlers, because of their innate and untapped skills, will probably find it easiest to learn and become proficient in wrestling rather than any other type of sport save running.
