Why
Satsuki?
Satsuki is not as popular as Kamui or Subaru, but I've always been interested in her. She is cold, ruthless, rather inhuman. She sees people as things, has no morals and very few of the traits that would be valuable in a real person. She's a highly intelligent psychopath. So why?
As scary as it sounds I identify with her in some ways. She's not very social, loves computers and did well at school while she still bothered to go there. Rather like me, but so far I haven't tried to destroy humanity. I find her powers fascinating, and would love to have a loyal computer like BEAST at my side, instead of the one I currently have ( the one which crashes at the most inconvenient of times...like, say, when I've downloaded 31 Mb of an anime episode). It's hard to explain, but I see her as something of a symbol for my attempts to attain some kind of affinity for my computer.
And as the hacker of the series Satsuki deserves more web space devoted to her. Chi no Ryu fans, put I Support Satsuki- signs on your pages! Promote the cause, and make sure the wrath of the Computer Goddess does not fall on you. Even a girl as antisocial as Satsuki would like to have some recognition. *grins*
Little Site Facts
Yes, yes, my site is shamefully simple for a shrine dedicated to Satsuki-chan. I'm not that good with computers and I can't make lovely layouts and such. I use my computer more for writing and mailing. Even so I wanted to have something here for Satsuki. I've seen X sites, which are simply amazing as far as beauty is concerned. I'll say it here: this will probably never be one of those pages. This is merely my dedication to a character I like.
My site is not very fact heavy. It relies mainly on my opinion and analysis of Satsuki's character. There'll be no bloodtypes, birthdays, etc. CLAMP doesn't hand out such data as readily as some other authors. I believe that with Satsuki, as with most of X, the readers must make up their own minds about the characters instead of being conveniently told everything.
