Soon there was a knock on the door.
“Hello, grandmother, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood. Please open the door.”
The wolf replied in a voice that sounded like grandmother’s.
“Just push the door open and come right in, dear.”
When Little Red Riding Hood entered the room, she looked across at her grandmother’s bed. She though her grandmother looked across at her grandmother’s bed. She thought her grandmother looked very strange.

“Grandmother, what big ears you have!” she said.
“All the better to hear you my dear,” replied the wolf.
“And grandmother, what big eyes you have,” cried Little Red Riding Hood.
“All the better to see you with, my dear,” said the wolf.
