Perhaps the greatest hardcore punk band ever to hit the scene, Afi blends the east bay hardcore stylings to their unique brand of dark (some would say gothic), post - punk, experimental, melodic sound, bringing their music into a morbid harmony! Davey Havok is one of the most incredible singers, performer and song writer, in my opinion that has ever existed! They have put out about four records, one of which included the Offspring's lead singer and owner no Nitro Records: Dexter Holland for backing vocals, and vice versa for Davey, who has done backing vocals for Offspring's last three albums, so their friendship is relevant.
Their last album entitled: "The Art of Drowning" which has the most played song on SF station Live 105, the most downloaded music video on Blank TV and are currently playing on Los Angeles radio station: K-ROQ. Afi has also recently performed with Deftones, Green Day, and Papa Roach entitled: The Not So Silent Night. Their latest album's single: "Girl's Not Grey," has generated much air play around the U.S. and they have put out yet another brilliant music video.
