This is intended to give you a crash course in the basics of how to make mandolorian armor. Basic designs, concepts, and common upload files for armor construction basics.

You'll need a printer, some basic tools, a glue gun, and some materials easily acquired from any automotive repair department. But before you go out and start buying supplies you need to figure out what kind of armor you're going to be making which means you need to decide on what era you want your armor to be from.

Eras

Crusader

Early Armor or Crusdader Era Armor characterized by the inclusion of animal bone and heavy metals often styled to intimidate their adversary. The helmets always had the characteristic t-shaped visor and were often adorned with horns or teeth from beasts they had killed.

Late Crusader Armor

This era was more streamlined but as with the previous era, armor was very individual with only certain aspects being similar in design. The visor on the helmet was almost always closer to a Y shape instead of the standard T. This was also when they moved towards the exclusion of animal pieces in favor of stronger metal alloys and streamlining the appearence of their armor.

Neo-Crusader Armor

These were mostly found in the old republic era before the modern era. The armor was uniform across the spectrum for all individuals. However, this armor has yet to be successfully constructed and as such files for the templates of the armor are unreliable at best.

Modern Era

Possibly the most recognizible of the Mandalorian armors, this was the design set by Boba Fett and used through the modern era of the star wars movies. The designs were more standardized as the Mandalorians themselves became more unified. The visors had a strong t-shape with some minor variations being seen. These are also the easiest to make as there are some very well made design files available due to their popularity.
