| News of the Day Archive- May 1-10 |
| May 1- Today began at around 8:40 when I rolled out of bed and managed to put on some clothes and brush my teeth before heading out the door just before 9:00. The ride to school was pretty uneventful, though I did catch a train which was moving pretty swiftly so it didn't really put me too far behind. I got to school where I met up with Robert and walked to our Psychology class. As we got closer to the door we noticed some people writing on the closed door and realized that class at last had been cancelled. It was frustrating to see the Monday/Wednesday class cancelled numerous times while we always had to attend ours. After signing the sheet, we began to question whether or not we should go to our second classes. I was going to since I didn't go on Tuesday, but after walking about a quarter of the way to the class Robert and I decided to just go to Burger King for breakfast instead. So that's what we did, and I ended my week barely attending any of my classes. At Burger King I got a croissan'wich, french toast sticks, hash browns, and orange juice, which was pretty good as always. After eating, I came home, which was at about 10:20 or so, and went straight for the computer. I spent the next four hours or so in front of some sort of computer, because at one point I tried to update the site but I couldn't open the program, so I had to go to my mother's computer to try. I spent most of my time making minor adjustments to the site, most of which nobody will ever notice, yet really seemed to bother me. However I spent a lot of the time not really doing anything, as usual, because there is not a whole lot that can be done online. At around 2:30 or so I drifted off to sleep, but I couldn't enjoy it because I had to work at 4:00 so I woke up for good at around 3:30, and got dressed before heading down to SpeedZone. When I got there I took care of all my duties, which took about half an hour before, which gave me some free time to roam around for a bit. When I got there I saw a note saying we had a portable phone that worked now which put me in a great mood because now I could have some more freedom at work. Now if the cashiers needed me they could just call the phone instead of having to look for me. It's great. At one point I took care of a woman's deposit for a group which was somewhat of a learning experience for me. At around 5:45 or so I was in the back office when Cody came in wanting some backup for some guys that might be causing trouble. I had to take care of cashing someone out, and giving a till out before eventually being able to go outside and find out the story. Rather than get lost in the details, I'll just say that Robert and Cody had some trouble with some customers that were drunk and causing a scene. Big Chris, Noy, and Cody were standing back as Jim and Brian took care of the situation, and even though it doesn't seem like it now, the situation was pretty close to a fight. So the three mechanics were told to stay out of view from the group so they went into Indy room where they watched through the windows to see what they would do. Nothing really panned out, but it was close, and the group eventually left, but not before one of the guys went to the cashier for a refund. I wasn't there at the time, so the cashier had the money to give him by the time I got there. Had I been there I wouldn't have given him the refund, mainly because he was one of the guys causing the most trouble. Once that was taken care of the group left and that was the end of the interesting stuff for the night. For a Thursday night it was pretty dead there, so it was tough to keep myself busy, especially when everything was already taken care of. I actually decided to take a break since I was hungry, so I ordered the chicken finger sandwich, which isn't really on the menu, but just talking to the cook will usually get it. I was on break for about twenty minutes before going back to doing nothing. I had recruited a second cashier earlier in the week, but it wasn't necessary to have two, so I sent her home at around 8:30. Overall it wasn't crowded, though the bar was somewhat busy because of the Laker game. I had to do a little work because there were now only two of us, but it wasn't much. After the game things got a little busy for the cashier, but there wasn't much I could do, not to mention he had it under control. By the end of the night I was in pretty good shape, I had my safes balanced, my sheets filled out, and was just waiting for the end of the night. Finally 11:00 came and I cashed out the cashier, and made my deposit, ran my reports, and was done inputting all my numbers into the computer. For the night I was perfect on my numbers which I had never done, and is sort of tough, but with handling so little money it would have been difficult to be far off. I was out of there in no time, and was finished before my cashier, and all the track marshalls, so I clocked out at 11:12 which is by far my best to date. I called up to see where everyone was at, so I drove over to Alfred's house where they said they were. I got there and Gabe, Paul, and Alfred were watching a documentary on G.G. Allin, whom I had never heard of. After sitting there for a couple minutes I got a call from Robert who just got out of work, which I thought was worth noting. We sat there and watched the documentary for a while which was interesting to say the least, though at the same time was a little boring. The guy's antics were pretty funny, and somewhat shocking as well, but I can't say the music was all that great, and documentaries in general just aren't too interesting if you have no idea what they're about. At the end of the movie we watched a scene of the guy playing a show naked, like it seemed he did often, and just wandering around getting dirty, and acting stupid. That was a prime example of how at first it was interesting to watch, but after about five minutes it just seemed like the same thing repeating, and I got distracted with Alfred's cd collection. I ended up choosing a few cd's to take home and listen to which included Thursday, Reel Big Fish, and Jimmy Eat World. At around 12:30 we decided to leave, so I came home where I sat online for a little while. There wasn't much to do online other than listen to the cd's I had just borrowed, so that's what I did while watching some tv. After a while I finally decided to call it a night at around 2:30 or so, and went to bed without writing the News. May 2- My day began at around 11:30 or so, when I woke up and sat at the computer for a while, like I normally do. I spent the first part of my morning writing the News from the previous day which took a little while to do. After finishing with that I didn't do much other than waste away my day in front of the computer and tv, though like most days there wasn't much on. Finally at around 2:00 I decided to start getting dressed, so I spent some time doing that, though I did get distracted by my friend the television for a little while, so it took me about two hours to finish getting dressed. I sat around for a little while before work, which was at 5:00. I got there and took care of my duties as usual, and was finished by about 5:30 before cashing out John the bartender, before being asked by Damon at about 6:00 to sit in on an interview. So for about ten minutes I saw someone be interviewed which was interesting to be on the other end of, though I didn't contribute at all to it. I knew Damon would ask if I had any questions for the kid, and I still didn't think of one, so I passed when he did. Afterwards he asked for my opinion, and it's still a little weird knowing that my opinion counts a little more than it used to. When that was finished I cashed out my cashier, which was shortly followed by a few refunds because it had started to rain, thus closing the tracks for the night. At 7:00 I had some new hires come in so I took the liberty of training them, because when I first got promoted I had been told that there should be a more active role in the training, so for all the new hires I have tried to do so. So I spent about an hour or so showing them redemption, and a little about cashiering as well before having to try and fix a couple of problems at take out. In the midst of the training Taylor Hooks showed up, so I talked to her for a couple minutes since I hadn't seen her since she left SpeedZone over a month ago. A little after that time I decided it was about time to take a break since I was a little hungry, and it was pretty dead due to the rain. I ordered the chicken finger sandwich again, which was good stuff as usual, and I ate for about fifteen minutes in the breakroom before going back to work. When I came back David was there hanging out at the bar and he started giving me some ideas to send people home and closing stuff down, so I listened to him since he has more experience. So I started sending people home and went to a bare bones staff for the rest of the night, which wasn't a problem at all. I closed the kiosks really early as well and was basically ready for us to close. Something else worth mentioning was that there was a group of Girl Scouts there at about 11:00 at night. There's something wrong with that, but who am I to judge? I kept myself busy paying off the safes and things of that nature, when out of the blue I heard the announcement that we were closing, and it was only 12:30. I had been in the cash control office for about half an hour so I hadn't seen that there were hardly any customers there, so I had to kick it into gear because even though I was ready, I still could have started running reports and things of that nature that I would normally do just before closing time. Luckily it wasn't much of an issue and I took care of everything in about fifteen minutes. Jim verified everything and at the end of the night I was short about $19 and I don't know where. That really irritated me especially since the day before I was perfect. I ended up leaving SpeedZone at about 12:50 and tried calling up people to see what everyone was doing but I didn't get any response so I just went home where I signed online. I had been watching "I Love the 80's" the day before and they talked about Fletch, so I figured I would watch that. That is one funny movie, and I think I should start watching it more often, which is one of the more underappreciated movies. However I was kind of tired so about three quarters through it I fell asleep and woke up when the VCR ejected the tape at the very end. I went to sleep without writing the News again. May 3/4- On Saturday I woke up at around 11:30 and began my day eating a late breakfast with my parents, who were kind enough to make me an omelete. While eating I began talking to them about my desire to go on a road trip and they were quite uneasy about the entire subject. As a result, my mother offered to pay for me to take a train trip this summer instead, since she would prefer I was not on the roads. I was really looking forward to a road trip, but the thought of a train trip seems a little better since it is so rare. After breakfast I did a little research on prices for a train trip, and then started writing the News for the day before. That occupied a couple of hours and at around 3:30 I decided it was about time to get dressed so that's what I did. Once I was finished with that I had some spare time before work so I took advantage of it by sitting at the computer a little while longer. My parents came home from being out, with some lunch for me before work. They had asked me earlier and I requested KFC which is what they brought. Finally at around 5:30 I got ready for work and left for SpeedZone shortly after. When I got there I had noticed that the parking lot was pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon even though it hadn't seemed to have rained for a few hours. However as I began to walk from my car it started to rain pretty steadily and I got wet in that short distance. I clocked in and began to asses the schedule situation with Gina and we determined that it would be best to keep only a handful of workers instead of a full load. So we kept four cashiers and a bartender with the intentions of sending a couple home early. A lot of the track guys were sent home, but the few that remained tried to dry off Slick and Turbo since the rain had stopped. In the meantime it was tough to come up with things to do to keep busy. So I pretty much just walked around. I went outside to see how the tracks were doing since I had nothing better to do, and ended up talking to Cody and Mike Yin for about ten minutes. As the track marshalls were finishing the drying process, I couldn't help but notice the drizzle coming down. Shortly after the announcement was made opening the tracks, but only a few minutes later I got a call from Brian saying they were closed again since it started raining harder. That rain only lasted a couple minutes since I walked back out and it had already stopped. Around that time Jim approached Gina about sending people home, an even mentioned I could go home early if I wanted, so after thinking about it a few minutes, I decided to do so. So at around 9:00, after verifying the deposit, I was finished working for the night and decided to see what everyone was doing. They were all seeing X-Men so I decided to join them at the mall, where they were all eating at the food court. I talked with them briefly before going to buy my ticket. The escalator wasn't working so as always it felt weird stepping onto it even though they are simply just steps when not in motion. I bought the ticket and went back upstairs, and shortly after everybody got up to wait in line. I joined Little Chris and Dennis for a smoke outside for a couple of minutes before we went to wait in line with Robert and Ricardo, while everyone else was at Borders. Paulina showed up with a couple of copies of Mean Street, which gave us something to look at. The theater had set up some barriers but as our group got bigger we were forced to move them. Eventually it got moved so much that it confused some in the group and forced them to put too much thought into a simple concept. A list of the cast of characters included: Little Chris, Dennis, Sean, Steve, Paulina,Ricardo, Paul, Alfred, Robert, and Gabe. After sitting for a while outside in the lobby they let us in to wait near the theater, though at no point did anybody tear our tickets. We now sat around some more, talking about anything and everything, though we lost a few of the bunch to the Lizzie Maguire Movie. Finally at around 11:15 or so they let us into the theater, but as we ewre going in a group of people tried cutting in front of us, but we weren't going to let them since we had waited for two hours. Nothing really happened after we pushed our way past them, and we all went up towards the top to get our seats. I ended up sitting next to Gabe and Alfred, and I spent some time talking to Alfred and Paul about the Lizzie Maguire Movie. At one point I looked down the row and could do nothing but wave at Ricardo who was pretty far away. It was a little strange because Alfred didn't put the armrest down next to us so I didn't have anywhere to put my right elbow. Eventually at about 11:40 the commercials began, and I must say that they are getting way out of hand. There were some previews, only a couple of which seemed worth watching. The movie finally started at about midnight and I thought it was pretty good. It seemed slower than the first one, but I still think it was better. In the midst Alfred made a dated Sunny Delight joke that made me laugh. All in all it was a good time and the movie ended at around 2:00 in the morning. My car was parked far from everyone else so I got my car and drrove over to everyone else where we talked about the X-Men comics for a few minutes before everyone dispersed. I hadn't eaten since the KFC earlier, so I was hungry, and when I got home I had a couple of Top Ramens as a late night meal. As I ate it I spilled some of hte hot water/broth on me, but didn't burn myself. It was cool enough to just be an inconvenience instead of an injury. When I was done with that I spent some time online before calling it a night at around 4:00. On Sunday I woke up at around 11:30 and took a shower before getting dressed, and assumed my position in front of the computer. While online I talked with Lindsay who mentioned going to eat, and since I was hungry, I took the offer. So at around 1:00 she picked me up and we headed over to the Mexican Cafe which is near Kinko's. There were people there, but it wasn't crowded and we found a seat. I had felt like eating breakfast so I ordered chorizo and eggs which was pretty good, though I've never really found a place that messes up chorizo and eggs. After being there for about half an hour or so, Lindsay wanted to buy shoes, so we headed over to the Brea Mall. Once at the mall she went to three different shoe stores to compare the ones she wanted before going back to the first, Lady Footlocker to buy them. There was a sale to buy one pair and get the second for 50% so I waited as they looked for the ones she wanted, or at least the left shoe of. After they searched for a few minutes she decided to just get another kind instead, as if it was required by the store to buy a second pair. As she paid I somehow got the blame for her spending so much on shoes so quickly, which even made the clerk kind of laugh. From there she wasn't finished yet, and decided to go into another store to buy more things. So I tagged along as she looked at various things, though I am just not a shopper in general because I never know what to do in stores when I am not looking. So I always just sort of wander around aimlessly. We went into a couple other stores, none of which I knew the names of, before she decided to go to Tilly's instead. So we walked back through the mall and made it back to the car where we headed to Tilly's. She told me not to let her spend any more money on shoes, which I thought was sort of funny. When we got there she decided to go to the Nordstrom store right next door, but only spent a few minutes in there before going to Tilly's. I still just sort of wandered around and had no intentions of looking at anything, though I didn't have too much money on me even if I wanted to. We were in there for a little while before she picked out some things and went on our way. From there it was one last stop for her which was Target. She went in, found what it was she was looking for, and went on from there. It was about 4:15 or so when she dropped me off at my house, and I resumed my position in front of the computer. I started watching some more "I Love the 80's" and decided to download Eddie Murphy's song "Party all the time". I talked to Paul online a little bit, and decided that I would carpool with him to the Nutwood show later on. So I continued to sit at the computer until he arrived at around 7:30. He drove, and as we were turning from Aguiro to Fullerton Paul turned into the middle lane to wait for a car to pass, but I think it changed lanes so he decided to pull into traffic (though we were the only two cars). The car ended up cutting in front of us to turn into a driveway so he had to swerve to avoid hitting it, and it was pretty close. I'm not sure how close we got, but it sure got our attention. On the way there as we were passing Commonwealth on Euclid I saw the Eastbound Southwest Chief pass overhead, which pretty much made the trip. I still don't know what it is about trains... We got the Chain Reaction where we found the band hanging out in front along with Nick and Jeannine, who were about the only ones there. Slowly but surely more of the familiar crowd began to show up. I stood around inside for a little while before going outside during the first band and stayed out there talking until Nutwood was about to go on. Finally at around 8:45 they began to play and were sounding good as usual, however the crowd didn't seem too into it. They played the usual songs except for one towards the end which is their new one, and it sounded good. I hadn't heard it except for the one time at practice, and in the middle of it I called Tom since he had asked me to call and I forgot. So he got to hear part of the new one at least. They played for about half an hour or so, and ended with at least a little bit of action in the crowd, though not as much as in the past. Once they were done I went outside and never went back in, and instead just waited around talking to whoever was out there, which ultimately ended up being everyone. The conversation was pretty varied as always, and I spent some time talking to Nick and Jeannine, who I don't seem to see that often. We were out there for at least an hour or so, waiting for the show to end so we could all go get something to eat. With one band left to go we did eventually make our way to the parking lot where we waited around a little bit longer to find out what was going on. Everybody was going to Albertacos as is the usual routine now from Chain Reaction. Paul, Lindsay, and myself rode to Albertacos where we met everyone. I got a breakfast burrito and three rolled tacos which is a pretty good meal in my opinion. We all sat around eating, discussing various topics, which ultimately ended up being SpeedZone since there was an abundance of workers there, and basically everytime you get any together that's what they talk about. Eventually I even grew tired of it and joined the topic at the table with Ricardo, Nick, Jeannine, and Steve which when I first walked in was about a serial killer. We started talking about how they were the outsiders and weren't sitting at the cool table, but then started saying that in time everyone would be sitting around them. Sure enough, that's what happened, and around that time is when people started to leave. It was around 11:45 at this point, and most of us stuck around continuing to chat. After a little while the rest of us decided to leave as well. So we all piled into the cars, which was Paul, Lindsay, and I again. It didn't take long to get home and when I did I went to the computer to fulfill my addiction for the night. I ended up watching Fletch again, but fell asleep about halfway through it, and again went to sleep without writing the News. May 5- My day began at around 8:45 when I stumbled out of bed and managed to brush my teeth and throw on some clothes to head to school. I left the house at around 9:00 and got to Mt. SAC at around 9:20, and walked to Caputo's class where there was a note on the chalkboard saying that class would begin at 9:45. I took the opportunity to handwrite the News for Saturday, which didn't stop once class started as I continued to write through the lecture. With the exception of my History class, I'm just phoning it in now, and I really don't care too much about school. A long summer will help set me back on track... I hope. Class ended at around 10:45 and I walked to my History class where I had to wait around for a few minutes before Bill Jones eventually showed up. Once in class I got my map assignment back which I did pretty well on. For the duration of the class we watched a couple movies depicting the Battle of Little Big Horn, and discussed some of the historical inaccuracies. We were let out at around 12:15 at which point I walked to my car and drove home. Once at home I assumed my spot in front of the computer, and sat around for a few minutes before finally deciding to write the News of the Day. I started with Sundays, but then decided it would be easier to at least type out my handwritten one for Saturday. I started everything at around 1:00 and didn't finish with all of it until after 3:00, since I am easily distracted. Once I was finished with the writing it was time for me to get ready for work, so that's exactly what I did. I got dressed and headed to SpeedZone at 4:00, and began my shift with the regular rituals. I spent about an hour doing those since I was feeling pretty lazy and figured there really isn't any rush, especially on a Monday. Things were pretty slow, and at 6:00 Jenine came in for work as well as a new hire which I left to Jenine to train. However I had covered everything in general on Friday so it should in theory have all been review. It was a struggle to find things to do, so at one point I just gave up and ended up going outside to talk to Gabe and Robert. The three of us just stood out on GP terrace talking, accomplishing absolutely nothing for at least fifteen minutes, though possibly longer. All in all it wasn't too eventful of a night, which is why I like Mondays at work, and it actually went by somewhat quickly. Towards the end of the night I was ahead of the game running the credit card report almost half an hour early, and taking care of all the money early as well, though it didn't quite help in the end. I still took about fifteen minutes after closing time, which wasn't helped by my inability to read the amount of dimes in the deposit. i ended up clocking out at 11:11 and joined Robert and Gabe in the parking lot. We stood around for only a couple minutes before parting ways, and I came home. I ate a Marie Callendars tv dinner which was really good, and sat online while watching tv as usual. I have a bunch of clean clothes sitting on my bed that need to be put away, but I'm not quite sure if I will. It's 1:30 in the morning and I'm not sure the motivation is quite there right now. May 6/7/8- Due to various circumstances, most notably laziness, the usual detail rich updates for the previous three days will not be included. A basic recap of my days included going to class, not really doing much with my free time, and working one of those nights. May 9- My day started at around 10:00 when my brother called me saying he was on his way to my house. So I woke up and sat at the computer, when he arrived and I talked with him for a little while, mainly about our upcoming trip, and things of that nature. Like always he got distracted watching tv, and I as well sitting at the computer for a while. My mom came home at around 1:00 and she had to do a couple of errands so my brother decided to drive her since I was blocking her car which was in the garage. I rattled around the house for a little while longer until finally at around 3:30 I drove to SpeedZone to pick up my paycheck, which I did. After that I headed outside where I spent a considerable amount of time talking to Gabe about some things. Robert Taylor even joined the conversation and I talked to him about various things as well, until it was about 5:00 and and time for Gabe to get off of work. I briefly chatted with him in the parking lot before we went our separate ways, at which point I went over the hill to get gas at the Unocal 76. After spending $35 to fill up my tank, I went home for a couple of minutes and then headed over to Robert's house at 6:00. It was the usual gang of idiots there (a Mad Magazine reference) and we were still waiting for a couple more. Eventually after sitting there, watching part of a cheesy 80's movie called Rad about BMX bikes, it was around 6:30 and we headed out the door. We went in three cars: Alfred, Paul, AJ, and Robert in one car, Cody and his girlfriend in another, and Gabe, and Sean went with me. We were going to Lucille's and since I figured we would have to wait anyway, I took the streets there, which included a sort of "scenic route" that went a back way to it. I had Gabe and Sean a little confused and lost, but we managed to get there, even before everyone else. We waited for ac ouple minutes before the rest showed up and put in our names, which would be about two hours. We stood around for a couple of minutes before Sean and I decided to get something to eat at Wendy's, though we were quickly convinced to go to nearby Border's. Once there the entire group that went flocked to the magazines, though I walked around a little bit. I came across the DVD section and immediately noticed an I Love Lucy dvd that I figured would be great for Mother's Day on Sunday, so not only did I pass the time while waiting, but I actually accomplished something too! It was around 8:00 or so when we got a call from the rest that waited at the restaurant saying it was time, so I bought my dvd, and we walked back. Little did they know that the pager they gave us was just acting normal, and we still had to wait. While waiting outside in the cold, Steve and Ricardo eventually showed up, as well as Big Chris, Jenine, and two of her friends. Finally at around 9:00 the pager started flashing and it was time to sit down and eat. The group, which was now about sixteen or so sat around a table, which in my corner was AJ, Sean, Gabe, Cody and his girlfriend, and Paul. At a nearby table was another large group of middle aged people celebrating Bob's birthday so we would occasionally show our support to him. I ordered a tri-tip sandwich which was pretty good, though it had a sweet taste which sort of got to me towards the end of it, but it was still good. It was a typical meal setting and the conversation was varied as always, until around 10:00 when we decided it was time to leave and see where we wanted to go next. It was decided we would go to Paul's house, but we had to stop at Robert's house to get everyone's cars. Paul rode with me on the way there, and once at Robert's I gave Gabe a ride to Paul's house. We got there at a little before 11:00 and went to the backyard where we sat around a table. Some alcohol was bought so those that weren't driving decided to have a drink, including Gabe which was pretty unusual. A drinking game was started up at one point and it was sort of fun to watch but it looked like those involved were having a better time. Shay eventually showed up as well so he joined the sober table as well. Finally at around 1:15 or so everyone decided to leave, but I was going home by myself since Gabe went with Robert because his car was at his house. So by myself I drove home, but I didn't quite feel like going home immediately, and instead decided to drive around a little bit. So instead of going South on the 57 home, I went North to the 210. Driving around is a lot like going to the train station. I took the 210 to I-15 which I took North, up into Cajon Pass before eventually deciding to turn around at highway 146, which is the exit for Silverwood Lake and Wrightwood. It was a little after 2:00 at this point, and there wasn't much further I could go without going too far, so I got off of the freeway and turned around. I went back South on the 15 back to the 210, and came home, which was at around 2:45 or so. Once at home I sat online for a few minutes before finally going to sleep because I was tired at around 4:00 or so. May 10- My day began at around 11:00 or so when I woke up and found a note from my parents on my whiteboard saying they went to San Diego for the day. So I pretty much just sat around the house for most of my day, while sitting online and writing the News for the day prior. I was hungry so I took the initiative of making myself some eggs, toast, and toasting some Eggos for breakfast, however it didn't turn out too well. Other than that I pretty much just sat around watching tv while online for a few hours until it was about time for me to get ready for work. So at around 5:00 I got ready and headed down to SpeedZone at 6:00 where I began my shift. Since Gina had been there for an hour already I didn't have to worry about much when I got there, and things were pretty dead so that was good too. I didn't have much to do other than taking care of the various things like cashing people out, drops, and damaged cards. We managed to get two sets of keys together so now Gina and I could roam around without having to constantly ask eachother for the keys which was really convenient. At around 9:00 I went on break with Gabe and Cody, who had to smoke in the "secret garden" before eating a pizza which I got duped into paying for. After my break I continued with my duties, not really having to deal with much out of the usual, and that's about how my day went. Overall it was a slow day and didn't even feel like a Saturday since it was never really that busy. The night slowly but surely came to an end and we got things done, though not as quickly as we could have, but done. By 1:30 I was finished and hanging out in the parking lot with Gabe, Robert, Little and Big Chris, and Paul. Little Chris was drunk and making a fool of himself, so Big Chris did what he could to settle him down. We moved over to 7-11 where I got a Big Gulp because I was really thirsty, and we stood outside for a while like the good ol' days. There were some kids that looked like they just came from a prom that were doing some sort of scavenger hunt it looked like. Some guy was video taping everything including them buying condoms and getting a phone number from Robert. We stood outside like usual and talked about various things before calling it a night at around 2:30 or so, at which point I came home. I went to the computer, and checked some things online before finally calling it a night at around 4:00. |
