CATHERINE McPADDEN's parents were STEPHEN McPADDEN (?-?) and MOLLIE DEVITT (?-?). CATHERINE had the following siblings (That I am aware of):

1.  HUGH McPADDEN (?-9/30/1909) married MAGGIE BARTLEY (?-1919) on 2/7/1869 in Rochester. They had 7 children, none of which had any offspring.
               a.  MARY AGNES "MINNIE" McPADDEN 11/6/1869-12/15/1915. Never married.
               b.  STEPHEN McPADDEN (1/22/1872-7/23/1924) became a priest. Pastor of St. Stephen's Church in
Geneva, N.Y. Designed most of the church which still stands today.

Church in Geneva. He became pastor after his brother's death.
               g.  EDDIE McPADDEN (7/12/1885-3/25/1886).
All of the above moved to Geneva, N.Y. As you can see, no children from the second generation. However, Sarah and siblings adopted a little girl around 1920. She is still alive and lives in the same house in Geneva. She wishes to remain anonymous.

                a.  JOHN M. FOLEY (?-?) married unknown became a dentist.
                b.  JOSEPH T. FOLEY (?-?) worked at St. Regis Paper.
                c.  MARY C. FOLEY (?-?) became a school teacher and wrote school books.
                d.  FRANK A. FOLEY (?-?) married MARY SMITH(?-?).
A note on MAGGIE BARTLEY: For unknown reason the BARTLEY name seems to be interchangeable with the surname McPARTLAND (and various spellings).

CATHERINE McPADDEN O'HARA had a cousin that also lived in Rochester by the name of HUGH DEVITT (1832- 8/21/1894) who was married 3 times and widowed 3 times. He was born in Leitrim and came to Rochester in 1863. Hugh married NORA SCANLON (?-6/17/1875) on  2/21/1873. His second wife was MARIA HOGAN (?-8/17/1881) they had a daughter, MARY ANN (8/12/1881-?). HUGH's 3rd wife was JENNIE F. CALLAHAN (1850-8/18/188). Hugh's daughter married a man named AUSTIN KING on 9/10/1907. Hugh's parents were JAMES DEVITT and ANN McPADDEN. This is interesting because of Catherine McPadden O'Hara's parents who were STEPHEN McPADDEN and MOLLIE DEVITT.
