CONNAUGHTON (2/4/1874-5/24/1877). Note Peter's death date above. 4. JAMES B. CONNAUGHTON (12/28/1870-3/20/1876). 5. CATHERINE CONNAUGHTON (1/21/1872-2/15/1880). 6. WILLIAM CONNAUGHTON (7/18/1880-10/13/1954) became a priest and worked at Sacred Heart Church in Burke, S. Dakota. 7. LORETTA (LAURA) CONNAUGHTON (6/5/1882-1963) never married. "Lively wit" (Henry Clay relate) 8. PATRICK CONNAUGHTON (?-10/26/1910) married ANNIE WIGGINS. Had 3 children: BLAKE - died at age 7, JEANNE and ELSIE who never married. 9. EMMETT CONNAUGHTON (1885-7/22/1943) married MINNIE GRIFFIN (?-7/20/1939). Had a second wife: BESSIE McGRATH (1887-1967) No children. 10 KATIE CONNAUGHTON (?-?) Buried in family plot. No more Connaughtons to carry on the name. 1. ALICE O'HARA (8/29/1876-5/5/1915) married WILLIAM J. LEONARD (?-7/17/1949) They had 2 sons: WILLIAM and GEORGE. WILLIAM never married. GEORGE did but no kids. End of Leonard line. 2. HELEN "NELLIE" O'HARA (1879-6/14/1957) never married. 3. MARY ELIZABETH "MOLLY" O'HARA (1881-11/13/1937) never married. 4. JOHN J. O'HARA (1884-11/2/1914) never married. Had a business at 282 West Ave. called "Callaghan and O'Hara" according to a 1908 city directory. 5. GEORGE F. O'HARA (1886-6/29/1944) married ELIZABETH COLLINS (1886-11/10/1960). These are my grandparents. In the city directory Patrick's occupation is listed as carpenter. 1. CATHERINE AGNES O'HARA (1874-?) 2. CHARLES T. O'HARA (1876-4/17/1950) married ANNA ? (?-5/21/1951) worked at Hickey Freeman Co. They had 1 daughter LOUISE O'HARA (?) who married ROBERT DOERBECKER (?). LOUISE had a daughter named ANNA (?). I believe they lived in Kenmore. 3. MARY ELIZABETH O'HARA (1879-3/25/1974) married THOMAS CASHMAN (1869-6/1941) they had 3 children: HELEN CASHMAN (?-2/1989), MARY E. CASHMAN (?-10/1992) and JAMES S. CASHMAN (?-?) 4. LILLIAN A. O'HARA (1881-4/21/1955) never married owned a hat and dress shop with her sister LORETTA at 50 East Ave. and 359 East Ave. 5. STEPHEN V. O'HARA (1884-9/24/1963) married MARY A. BUSSEY (1872-10/17/1939) on 12/21/1909. No children. STEPHEN was a police officer and left the job when he married MARY. She owned a tavern at 1821 East Ave. They ran it together. After Mary died he married KATHERINE EMERSON (1900-1/1984). 6. LORETTA H. O'HARA (1886-5/31/1976) never married. 7. AGNES O'HARA (1889-1950's) joined Sisters of St. Joseph as SISTER STEPHEN MARIE. 8. MAURICE J. O'HARA (1891-1/14/1946) never married. Died in Tucson Arizona where he had been for 20 yrs. Served with Co. B 306th Field Signal Battalion in WWI. 1. FRANK J. NORTON (8/23/1890-5/4/1892) 2. KATHERINE NORTON (3/15/1894-7/26/1894) 3. EMMETT V. NORTON (10/10/1895-12/26/1970) married IRENE WALSH (?-?) on 12/30/1923. (3 children) Click HERE for continuation. MARY NORTON (1892-1977) married FRANK SHAUGHNESSY (1883-7/6/1970) on 10/6/1921. They had 3 sons: JOHN, FRANK, DAVID. Unknown what became of them. 6.
