What does non-proprietary mean?
Computers have standard parts and interchangeable parts. As the consumer, when you invest
in non-proprietary personal computer, you are not forced to in non-proprietary personal
computer, you are not forced to same manufacturer of the system which means it is easier
for you to make upgrades.
What does it mean to use brand name parts?
No generic parts are used. All of the parts that are used are the same parts used by other known name
manufacturers, such as Aces, without the inflated prices.
What do all those certifications mean?

A general certification for computer service technicians. The A+ certification is sponsored
by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) and it is an internally-recognized
credential. The certification leads heavily toward hardware. In order to install and repair
computers, technicians must know something about networks, operating systems and customer relations.

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Microsoft Certified Professional is a broad term for several types of certification credentials
offered by Microsoft Corporation. To earn a MCP one must pass one or more exams for products in the
Microsoft Official Curriculum or in the series or exams for the master credentials.
This credential is for individuals who have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft
product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization. Hands-on experience with
the product is necessary to successfully achieve certification.

Sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), Network+ tests the capabilities of a
networking professional to install, maintain, troubleshoot and support a network and understand
various aspects of networking technologies including TCP/IP and the OSI Reference model. Some topics
the networking professional must know include TCP/IP utilities, newtwork components and where they function in
association with the OSI Reference model, network cabling, network security and the troubleshooting methodology.

Should I upgrade my system? Why?
Yes.
What is the advantage of being upgradeable for future expansion?
Having a non-proprietary computer helps save money in the long run. For example, if you need an upgrade
to your computer to help the speed and performance you only need to change a few parts, as opposed to
buying a new computer.
I do know what I need for my computer. Can you help?
Most definitely. Trans-Comp International believes in working in the best interest of its customers and
maintaining relationships. In doing so Trans-Comp International wants to be sure the customer is getting
what he/she needs and can afford.
Do you test your systems?
Yes. All computer systems are tested for 24 to 48 hours before being
delivered to the customer.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. There is a one year labor and a one year parts warranty on personal computers. Hard drives have a
one year labor and three years parts warranty.
I do not live in a 20 mile radius of Middlesex County. Can I still use your services?
Though Trans-Comp International mostly serves parts of Central New Jersey, there are some services that
can be provided to individuals and businesses who are located outside of the area. Please send an email to
