Jon Polito plays Johnny Caspar, the hotheaded Italian crime lord in Miller's Crossing. It's the kind of part that Polito is known for -- in fact, when he arrived in Hollywood the first part he won was in the television series "The Gangster Chronicles."

Since Miller's Crossing, Polito has made appearences in several movies such as The Freshman, The Rocketeer, The Big Lebowski, and has made recurring appearances on several TV shows including Seinfeld. Polito also played Detective Steve Crosetti on the 1993-1994 season of Homicide: Life on the Street.
