Catalina was found abandoned by her mother under a mobile home where my brother works in Denton.She was about a week old when he found her.She was hand feed a kitten formula for about 4 weeks.She was a very lucky cat to have people like Lina and Debbie to care for her during that time. Catalina is about 9 months old now.She has added plenty of warmth and love to our house hold. She loves to play with her string, pounce on Cinnamon, and chase squirrels in our back yard.She likes to ride in cars and when she was younger Lina took her just about every where she went.Catalina is a white cat with light gray spots and loves giving and receiving affection. |

Cinnamon is the newest member of our family.She was an abandoned cat also.I found her one cold and rainy day where I work.She was hiding under a car in the parking lot trying to stay dry. She was around 2-3 weeks old at that time. She is cinnamon in color but that's not how she got her name.The day I found her someone had given her a piece of a cinnamon roll and she had it with her.We took her into our home and she's a important part of the family now.She thinks Catalina is her sister and they love one another.They play together constantly. Cinnamon is a very shy cat around other people but around us she always seeks our attention and love. |

We have one other cat Pumpkin.He is 18 years old and has slowed down quite a bit in his old age.When he was younger he ruled the neighborhood.He still does to a certain extent.Most of the other cats in our neighborhood go out of their way to avoid him.He has accepted having both Catalina and Cinnamon around the house and they know when to leave him alone. On 9/7/01 Pumpkin left for kitty heaven. He will be greatly missed. His memories will live forever around our house. |
