Politics:

Politics is a grand idea gone horribly awry.

Major politics is run by an alumni network which exists outside of the system and controls things secretly under the table.

The government would run much more smoothly if all of the politicians ran as Independents.

To pursue a career in politics, one must be extremely naive or megalomaniacal.

Politics is mostly posturing.

Politics is always looking over its shoulder.

Our world has too much politics.

The problem is, those who have the power to change things for the better are in no hurry to do so.

Power is having the ear of the masses.

Without us they have no power.

Too much power and not enough power are the spurs of madness.

The media is the dictator of the world.

10% of the people feel one way, 10% feel the opposite way, and the other 80% are pretty much indifferent. Unfortunately, whichever 10% gets to the media first becomes the voice of 90% of the population.

Whoever gets control of the media wins.

Whoever rules the media rules the world.

America is going to freedom itself into oblivion.

The curse of freedom is responsibility.

There is no such thing as freedom, only varying states of oppression.

Oppression is the most vile of all evils.

The most dangerous voice of all is the one crying out against the rights of others.

It is always the one with less who cries out for fairness.

There is a difference between equal and the same.

The government's idea of fairness and equality is not to give to those who have less, but to take from those who have more.

Passage of the Equal Rights Amendment won't give women equal rights, but equal obligations.

The question isn't, "Should women be allowed in combat?" The question is, "Should women be forced to go into combat?" Because they won't have a choice, just as they don't have a choice now.
