Every human being on the face of the Earth is absolutely convinced that: 1) society is stacked against them, 2) they are doing all of the work, and 3) they have a tougher life than everybody else.
Life has three stations: 1) the one we're in now, 2) a lower station, and 3) the one we imagine holds all of our happiness and fulfillment.
There are four worlds to every life. The one we live in, the one we long for, the one under our nose, and the one behind our back.
In order to fulfill your life's ambitions you must go through four areas: 1) you must know someone on the inside, 2) once there, you must scratch someone else's back, 3) then you will have to wrestle your own demons, and finally 4) you must live with your decisions.
There is only now and hope.
Hope is the stuff dreams are made of.
Hope can be an oasis or a mirage.
Sometimes hope is damnation.
Terror is the sudden confirmation of all that you believe in and the realization of all that you hoped for.
The way is through you.
There is nothing so poignant as the end of a mystery.
If you plan to make a go of it in the real world you must understand that no matter how outstanding your abilities, how terrific your personality, how warm your soul, or how righteous your ways, nobody there needs you and there's a very strong possibility that they will treat you as such. The important thing to remember and believe is that they are just as interchangeable in your life as you are in their's, no matter how much it may seem otherwise.
Welcome to the world of adulthood, where everybody lives in quiet desperation, and everyone envies someone who envies someone else.
Nobody ever said you're supposed to get what you want.
Never put a price on your integrity. Always believe in its invaluableness.
When life punches you in the face you just have to roll with it. You must.
Don't demand or expect the fulfillment of your aspirations to provide a constant state of happiness.
Failure is second only to success, followed by dreaming, with not trying running a distant last.
If you don't take responsibility beforehand, you will have to accept responsibility afterwards.
