HOW TO BECOME A QUEEN BEE
WHAT IS A QUEEN BEE and HOW CAN I BECOME ONE?
A Queen BEE is a Midwest Scrappin Babe that is a
B abe of
E xceptional
E nthusiam.
It is a way to recognize a MSB member that promotes, demonstrates or supports the MSB organization.
HOW TO BECOME A QUEEN BEE
* Board Members and ongoing committee members.....(ie: Historian and Newsletter committee members) automatically receive the Queen BEE status
*Must be a dues paying member to work towards a Queen BEE status. For KC area Babes, you need a total of 12 points to become a Queen BEE.
Those who live out of town need at total of 8 points.
WHY DO I WANT TO BE A QUEEN BEE?
All Queen BEE's are invited to a all expensed paid Cropping retreat held the first weekend of November of each year.
HOW DO I GET THE POINTS?
- Must attend 8 of the 12 meetings. If you are an out of town member then you must attend 4 crops per year.
In town status versus "out of town"' is determined by the Queen Babe....Lee's Summit is NOT out of town!
- If you join mid-year and can accumulate enough points by the Sept crop then you will be eligible
- Besides your meeting points you can earn the remaining points by serving on special projects thru the year ie:
coordinating events, Fund Drives, and other bonus point opportunities offered numerous times thru out the year.
Points given are determined by the Queen Babe. You can also make up for missed meeting points the same way.
Regardless you will need a total of 12 points (if you're a KC area Babe) and 8 points if you're an out of town Babe.
You are responsible for reporting your points to Julianne McReynolds, Babe Treasurer. Only those recorded points will determine your Queen BEE status.
