Final Fantasy VIII has the story of true romance. The main character Squall Leonheart is a student at Balamb Garden to become a full-pledged Seed. Your job is to guide Squall through the halls of Balamb and get him into the Seed rank. Squall's if first met in the beginning of the game, fighting with his arch-rival Seifer. They end up almost killing each other, but both are fine but in the condition of Squall's face. It has taken a scar after the hard battle. After Squall has been appointed an Official Seed, he starts his missions on helping towns and also taking tests. You also get friendly allies to be on your team. Playable characters are: Squall Leonheart, Rinoa Heartilly, Quitis Trepe, Zell Dincht, Selphie Timitt, Irvine Kinneas, Seifer Almasy, Edea. Also when your group falls asleep into a dream trance they become these three playable characters: Ward Zabac, Laguna Loire and Kiros Seagill.
