Welcome to the Witch's Study Buddy! Chances are that you have found yourself here because you have made a personal decision to delve deeper into the world of Wicca and Witchcraft. Something drew you here, whether it be curiosity, or something more deeply felt within. No matter how you came to be here, we do hope that you find what you are searching for. There is much to learn and understand about this path you now find yourself on.

This portion of A Witch's World is all about learning the religion of Wicca and gaining an understanding of the use of Witchcraft. If you are here searching for deep dark secrets, you have come to the wrong place, and have been sadly misled as to what Wicca and Witchcraft are truely all about. Yes, there are things that are kept in secracy, but these are things that are kept as such because of personal influences, or because they hold such a power, that to the untrained, they can be dangerous. It is these types of things that you will not read about in A Witch's World. If you decide to continue this journey, the time will come, eventually, when you have the knowledge behind you that all this will make sense. It is at that time that you will have your own "secrets" to which you will hold dearly in your heart, and not be willing to give away so freely.

All that being said, it is important to note that the knowledge I speak of is not learned over night. So if you are seeking an 'Instant Witchy Education', again, you will not find that here.

When I began my own journey into the Craft, I had many questions which you, most likely, also have. I visited many a website, lurked in Pagan Chatrooms, and made attempts to talk with any Wiccans that I could find. What I found was that most of the websites contained information that often went over my head. Discussions in chatrooms, although often interesting, were sometimes difficult to follow, and bonafide Witches were generally reluctant to speak with me. This made my quest for information very frustrating to say the least. What I couldn't seem to find were answers to my most basic questions. How do I get started? Where do I turn if I need help? What does it all mean?

With all the information that is available, especially on the internet, eventually we can begin piecing it all together to get a bigger picture. The problem with this approach is that it can often take more time than we have available in a 24 hour day. That's not to say that you won't find useful information, but it can lack what most are searching for the hardest...A Personal Approach. Someone speaking directly to you. Someone sharing their experiences with you, and guiding you through this very rewarding, and yet at times, slightly frustrating journey. My hope is to alleviate these frustrations for you, giving you information that can easily be understood, in a way that is more personal, not to mention more organized, so as not to have to piece the information together.

I do not, by any means, call myself a teacher or profess to have all the answers. I do, however, consider myself to be very dedicated to my studies, and feel that I have learned enough to be of assistance to those just beginning their own journey. I also feel that I am still new enough to the Craft to remember what it is like to hope to connect with someone who can help guide me in the right direction. By sharing my own experiences and knowledge with you, being here if you need help, and answering your most basic questions, I hope to help you unlock the mysteries of A Witch's World.
