Islamic Traditions Affecting the Copts
(Middle East Christian)
* It is clear that living with someone for a long time, can affect habits, daily customs, thoughts, and even believes. The Copts (Egyptian Christian) were - in the past -  one of the world leading churches. Most of the Christian philosophers in the first four centuries were from the Coptic Church.
* The Crisis started with the Islamic Invasion in the 7th Century, When
Amro Bin El-Ass (Islamic Leader and Soldier) conquered Egypt at 642 AD. From these early days the disaster started to occur.
* The Islamic Arabic tribes were not civilized and      barbarian. There original habitat was the desert, so, they used to live a      primitive kind of life. While the surrounding nations were a very      civilized ones. Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, ?etc, were   nations of great history. Egypt for example, had 3,000 years (by that  time) of traditions and civilization. Its history was full of glorious  events, teachings, buildings, philosophies, and religious systems and prayers.   The interaction between barbarians and so civilized  countries, erased most of the cultures of the old Middle East. The new  Middle East era started after the Arabic invasion. This area once was the  leader for the old world in civilization became an Arabic territory, full of stupidity, ignorance and primitivism.
* For the 1st two centuries after the invasion, Copts were still the majority of Egypt. Their language was still sound and clear. But later, one of the Patriarchs of the Copts started to      translate the Coptic mass and prayers to the Arabic language, and that  - later on - included even the liturgy and the old writings of the Copts philosophers.
* The translations were not so good; it got infected   with the Islamic features and traditions. Other collections of writings   were added from the catholic scripts. Later by the 13th century      the Arabic culture transformed the Coptic culture to a Semi-Islamic One.
The Islamic effects spread to affect many issues:
1)  Islam was concerned with the whole society instead of the individuals living in and forming this society, and so did the Church.
2) Islam was concerned with lows and regulations, and so did the Church.
3) Islam was interested in prevention of normal mixing of males and females in the community, and so did the Church.
4) Islam was and still like the Old Testament. Dealing with humans from outside not changing people from inside.
All these things took place gradually along the centuries, the Coptic language started to become a dead one. The Copts became an isolated church, a small island in the Islamic ocean. They could      not even understand most of their non-translated prayers.
Fasting days increased tremendously, Jesus started to      be far away in the 7th heaven (like the Islamic God; Allah).      The Copts got used to fear god and stopped loving him. The Coptic saints      started to become closer to their hearts instead of Jesus. The intercession of saints and priests became the rule and the way to Loving Father And His Son Jesus became blocked with more and more rituals and prayers.
Now, we are asking for      reformation of the Coptic Church, and sending a warning alarm to other Christians
"Be careful, your are playing with the Devil himself" .
