There are places in Neopia that are not exactly "open to the public", places you may have heard about on the message boards but never quite figured out where they are - or what they are. Some are forgotten, some are hidden, and some just need a little extra effort to get to. None the less, our little Shirelings have traversed the whole of Neopia to discover the Secrets of Neopia...
A word of warning, before you begin. If someone tells you about a "secret shop" or forgotten realm that sounds to good to be true, it often is. There are a lot of people out there, especially on the chat boards, that would like you to believe they hold the ultra secret URL to a faerie shop that sells rare items for 1NP. Don't believe them! Many times they ask for a rare item, a stash of NP, or your account information in exchange for their "secret" - They are trying to SCAM YOU! We have a Common Scams page devoted to debunking tricks like these. Remember, you have been warned!
Now for the secrets:
The Hidden Tower
The mystical faerie shop run by none other than Fyora, the Faerie Queen herself! Here you can find magical items, powerful weapons, rare paintbrushes, and all the cute faerie dolls you could want without spending an hour refreshing the page! Sounds to good to be true right? Well, it's not a scam, it's a catch - Fyora's prices are insane. We're talking millions of NP insane. You can get most of the items she sells for at least a few thousand NP cheaper by going to the auction house or trading post if you know what you're doing, but it's worth checking out.
To get to the Hidden Tower, you have to go to Faerie City in Faerieland. At the center of the city in the sky is the Faerie Castle. The Tower is hidden just to the left of this building, beneath the cloud but above the purple tower. Here's a pic:
Jelly World
The mystical, magical, misplaced land of Jelly. There's really not much here yet, though Neopets claims more will be added soon. In short, the major finds in this area are as follows:
- The Giant Jelly: Like the Giant Omelette, visit this once a day to get free food for your pet. One Jelly will feed your pet twice - just don't eat the poisonous Jelly!
- Jelly Blobs of Doom: This is a hidden game meaning you will not find it in the Games Room, though your score will still appear on your hi-score table.
- Jelly Foods: Buy food for your pet. w00t.
- Jelly World Chat Boards: A hidden chat board where you can babble away to your heart's content.

The Secret Laboratory
In this ultra secret lab lies an ultra secret ray gun that can do marvelous - and hideous - things to your pet. It might raise his stats, change his color, or paint him... or it could lower his stats, change his gender, or change his species! The ray will do something different to your pet everytime you use it! The cost? Just find the Nine Map Pieces. They can be bought in shops or found as random events, however they do come at a price...
