A leaf,
slowly floating on the wind,
whispering a tale,

of ancient trees,
with silvery-green leaves,
reflecting the sunlight,
capturing the dew.

Of rushing brooks,
babbling away,
with sparkling clear water,
curving among immense trees.

Of Elven houses,
growing in trees,
silvery wood,
light and air.

Of Elven folk,
proud and fair,
kind and wise,
understanding.

Until slowly,
its journey is complete,
asleep on the earth,
waiting to grow,
again.
