Welcome to the MCS,

The MCS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a contiguous map for micronations based solely within cyberspace. These are sometime referred to as virtual or cyber-nations. In layman's terms - the MCS is for any non-territorial online community that seeks to represent itself on a ficticious world alongside other states like itself. Our members range from online simulations based on science fiction, to realistic communities based on such concepts as Zoroastrianism. For a more in-depth understanding of what micronations are, this site can prove quite helpful and informative.

This organisation takes the cartography of the net map - commonly called Micras - very seriously. Due to the number of participating states, we expect adherence to our charter and policies. Violation of these usually results in expulsion from the society. So please make sure you read and understand these terms prior to applying for membership. If you are confused or have a question, don't be afraid to ask on the bulletin board or e-mail the Webmaster or see the staff listings below for further contact information.

NOTICE: The MCS has moved to a new site. www.micromaps.org with full-service forums and utilities. This site is remaining up as an archive of our longtime work. Please visit the new site for the latest news and information.
