DESCRIPTION   The PG2000d Programmer is a very easy-to-use 12 Position, 4 Channel programmer for the ACU2000d Automatic Controller Unit. It allows users to program and setup all the necessary operating parameters of the ACU2000d unit.

Selection of the parameters to program is via a very simple 12-position rotary selector switch. The adjustment of the servo positions for each of the 4 Channels is via 4 individual micro-potentiometers. The PG2000d directly drives the servos that are connected to the ACU2000d through these potentiometers.

The selector switch and potentiometer arrangement provides for a very straightforward, easy-to-use, and hassle-free operation. This is preferred over the often cumbersome-to-use LCD display and scroll-key arrangement.

OPERATIONAL MODES and MAXIMUM PROGRAM STEPS are two parameters that are programmed using 4-Way and 8-Way miniature array switches (DIL types) respectively.

During programming, the PG2000d is constantly in communication with the ACU2000d via the programming cable.

There is also a TEST/PROGRAM switch, which toggles the PG2000d between the programming and testing modes to allow the user to test out the program on the ACU2000d without disconnecting the programming cable.

Program entry is via a simple ENTER push button. Pushing this button will instruct the ACU2000d to store the set parameters in the unit’s permanent memory chip.
