If you are interesting in car history and models but doesn�t have the time to build or the room for bigger model, collectible die-cast models could be your choice of hobby. Off course collectible die-cast cars is the same as toy cars, even if many of them are not made for a child�s play.
My interest for collectibles started eight years ago when I got a couple of really nice Volvo truck models in 1:50 scale. My collection expanded and I started to include Volvo and Renault�s personal cars in my collection. Today my collection includes approximately 100 trucks and 200 personal cars.
Some of my collectibles are bought as new, but most of them are found on swap meetings. A good swap meet is the one in Eriksbergshallen, Gothenburg. This swap meet takes place two times a year. The organizer for this event is the well-known Gunnar s�derblom. |
