MFSC Programs
The Michiana Figure Skating Club utilizes the United Skates Figure Skating Association's (USFSA) Basic Skills program tests (Basic 1-8), Moves in the Field and Freestyle tests as a guide for the Learn to Skate Program for both Hockey and Figure Skating.
Private/ Semi-Private (two students) Lessons (Available Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday)
Private or semi-private lessons are available for any level of skater and are recommended upon passing Basic Skill test 8. Private lessons must be initiated by contacting Club officers at front desk on Wednesday nights or emailing [email protected] .

USFSA Testing Structure:
Passing Basic Skills , Moves in the Field, and Freestyle tests can allow the skater to compete at all levels of competitions (local, regional, national and Olympic) and obtain teaching certifications.
USFSA Basic Skill membership is required for skaters enrolled in Snow Plow Sam through Basic 8, and a regular full USFSA membership is required for skaters that have passed Basic 8, however full membership is recommended for skaters that have passed Basic 6.
