Been back from Switzerland nearly 4 months now, and working for 3 months (exactly today).  Have met a REALLY wonderful guy, George, who makes me SO happy. : )  Have updated my phoyos page at last, especially now that I have done my modelling portfolio photo shoot.  Am really busy.  Was elected as president when we set up the NZRFS (New Zealand Rodent Fancier's Society). Am going flatting soon with Carol and Adrian. That'll be SO great! Life's been hectic lately! Am feeling generally happier about life in general, although there are still a few things requiring sorting, besides the every day stresses.  Am happier than I have been in many several years, probably since when I was on the farm. I blame George for most of it : P  ahhh... he's such a sweetie, he's really wonderful : )
Other than that... ummm.... not much I can think of to say... except that it's actually my lunch break, and it's nearly over... so back to work for me! Oh... was going to mention... I miss Switzerland!

Okay, so I haven't updated in over a month, but hey, I've been busy! I can't believe I've been in Switzerland for over 9 months now.... geez... where did the time go? Last time I wrote there was 'only 10 and a bit more weeks' 'til mum arrives... now it's only 4 and a hald days...Sooty and Smudge have gone to their new home, as of Saturday.  The rat froup is going good, and hopefully we'll be having our first show in September and be forming a club a bit before then.
My room is currently hectic, with stuff everywere, as I'm slightly in the middle of packing. Eek! Anyway, I should really actually be working on that, so I should get going.  I can't wait to see my babies again!

Well, happy St Patrick's Day! Yep, i'm wearing green.  Not much been happening really.  Spoke to mum the other day, been having soem weird as dreams.  Been 18 for a month yesterday.  A little bored, a little lonely.  Tidied my room yesterday.  Have update the Sooty and Smudge page and added some drawings to the site that a good friend did for me (using me as the model) : )
Yeah, that's about it....
Oh... only 10 and a bit more weeks 'til mum arrives and only 4 months and a couple of days, till I'm home. Time is going to fly.  Then I can get home and get up to some mischief in english instead of french again, and I can see my bubbies.

Friday 28th February 2003
Well, I've been 18 for almost two weeks now. Still haven't done anything newly legal.  Things are going good, not a heck of a lot to say.  Have started a new rat group on yahoo, for the people who weren't happy on the other one and that's doing really well, especially since it's been less than a week still!
Ummm... being doing a LOT of work on my Hagen House Rattery website.  It's looking good.
Going to see Chicago tonight.  Saw Catch Me If You Can last friday.  Only 3 more months till mum comes! YAY! And then there's 4 and a half months till I get to see my babies (the rats and co.) and my friends!!

Tuesday 11th February 2003
Oh... 5 days to go now! (well 4 really, since the time of my birthday in my eyes is taken from the timezone in which I was born, which will make it 5.14pm on the 15th here, which is 5.14am on the 16th back home in NZ).
The Gerbils are now called Sooty and Smudge, officially, and I have done a lot of work on my website today.  There is also the all new 'The Sooty and Smudge Chronicles' pages!

Monday February 10th 2003
6 days to go! Then I'll be 18! Woohoo!
Anyhow, I think I have finally figured out just what I will be doing when I get back to NZ.  I'll be working and doing evening courses in different aspects of acting, before going on to do a course majoring in directing/writing and minoring in acting.  If I am able to get sponsorship to study a year with NYFA, I will then do that, and take a screen writing course too.  Otherwise I will go down to Wellington and work part-time and do a 2 year course in acting for film and theatre while doing other acting work too.  I also plan on taking part in the theatre group near where I live, to get any possible experience I can on stage or on set.  Hoping to be doing part time working in the media department, i.e. on set.  Planning to breed my rats again when I get back, hoping to find a nice doe for Hagen, as I'd like some more of his babies.
Habe recently created the NZMC (New Zealand Mouse Clubs), but don't have any members yet, it's too new and a little hard for me to advertise, working on that though.
ummm... what else is there to say? oh yeah, the dates are finally organised for mum coming over.  YAY, can't wait to see her.
Oh, and I've rescued two gerbils from the pet shop here, poor wee things. They were in atrocious condition.  I only wish I could have done something for the bird.  Will be contacting whoever I need to contact about such things as soon as I know who to contact.
Have been working hard on organising the rat shows in NZ.

Wednseday January 29 2003
Two and a half weeks to my birthday now.  Some of my little ratties are going to their new homes soon.  they're already five weeks old. how time flies!  It is snowing quite heavily today, first snow in a couple of weeks.  Very pretty to watch from inside the house.  Looks like i'll be on the committee for the NZRC (NZ Rat Club) and may be an events organiser, particularly organising Rat shows for the NZ rat owners.  i hope i am successful with that and it goes well.  If the Guinea pig people can do it and have less members than us, then it would be embarrassing if we couldn't keep it going.  i am looking forward to working on that. i have already started doing research!  finally got the photos of the babies on the website today, think i will reorganise that a bit though. but not now, it's been hard enough already, what with PageBuilder playing up on me all the time!  ordered some books off amazon.co.uk for my b'day.  can't wait till they arrive.  think that's all.

Friday January 17 2003
Have just recently moved to my new host family.  Will be starting school again on monday.  Still am not accustomed to writing 2003 as the date!  The house is amazing (it was built in the 14th century), I hope to add some photos of it to the site later.  Nice view too, there are roman ruins nearby, and amphitheatre. (They're actually just around the corner).  I'm living in Avenches, and will be going to school in Fribourg.  For those of you who don't yet know, I m on student exchange in Switzerland.  It is my birthday in just under a month now.   There is a new addition to my permanent family back home.  Her name is Mini-Me and she is a black hooded rat.  She is Abby and Hagen's daughter. That's about all for now.
