About Me!
Hello!
My name is Michelle Youl, I'm currently 18 years old, but that's subject to change, provided that I survive long enough to turn 19! I'm living back in NZ now (and generally not liking it all that much), have bought myself a car, am working for an insurance company and have moved out of home.
I like reading, writing, acting, singing, horseriding, rockclimbing and abseiling. Most often though you'll find me sitting somewhere with a good book and at least one of my rats (when i'm back in NZ) or else working away madly at the computer, if I'm not listening to music and playing the fool. English is my native language, and I am a New Zealander. I also speak french as well, which I have learnt at school and also in Switzerland (and a little in Tahiti). I hope to become fluent in french and then go on to learn other languages as well, particularly german and spanish.
Will be working for the next 14 months or so, and then plan on going to University and studying acting. Have the ambition of becoming and actress/director. Not entirely sure where I'm going, staying in Auckland, going down to Napier or what. I want to get out of New Zealand fairly soon, or at least out of Auckland, so chances are I'll end up studying in Napier, before moving overseas. Suffered severe culture shock coming back to New Zealand and have so many gripes about the country it's just not funny. I want to go back to London, I loved it over there!
Am currently involved with George, a mechanical engineer - he designs things - who is British but grew up in NZ, in Havelock North. He's probably buggering off pretty soon though, either to England/overseas or Havelock North, which will mean that at some point, when that happens, we will end up just friends again, which is kind of sad. Or I think it is anyway. So currently I don't know what's happening on that front, so much uncertainty, but that's life I guess.
