was called Picastotle - Picasso and Aristotle.

We
visited the Weaver Creek Salmon spawning channel nearby. They
have 3 kms of channels like this where the salmon lay their
eggs.

Basins
that connect the channels to the natural river. The salmon
are all struggling to swim upstream through the "steps".

Once
through the basins, they get to rest for a while before continuing
upstream through the channels. A lot don't make it to the
actual channels because they are too exhausted and die.

We
stopped off at Chehalis River on the way back home. After
seeing all the exhausted salmon, Gilly was hoping to catch
some fish with his bare hands.
