I am a senior lecturer in Strategic Management at the University of Reading and a visiting researcher of the Management Lab at London Business School, both in the U.K. I have worked and studied at 7 universities in 5 countries. My research focuses on the strategic management of large firms, with particular interests in sourcing strategy and management innovation. My publications have appeared in among others Academy of Management Review, Industrial Marketing Management, Management International Review, Research Policy, Sloan Management Review, Strategic Organization, and in four books (most recently with Cambridge University Press and FT Prentice Hall). I serve on the editorial board of the Journal of International Management and review for many other journals. I have been the recipient of grants from a variety of international institutions. I have been cited various times as an outsourcing and management innovation expert by the Financial Times and other newspapers. I have a broad range of teaching experience, including executive education and program management. I hold a PhD from RSM Erasmus University.
