Mine Safety Violations Cited:
Charleston, West Virginia. Safety violations that went uncorrected cost two coal miners their lives in a fire on a mine conveyer belt in January of 2006, a state report has found. Investigators have found that a previous fire at Aracoma Alma No. 1 went unreported and that a fire alarm did not work, a critical wall was missing, a water line had no water in it and an automatic fire sprinkler was broken. |

The doctor told the "police" arresting him that " I am a doctor and you are below me and have no right arresting me." |

Dead Decaying Cow, got caught on a tree branch and remained for weeks. 5 government jurisdictions declined repeated requests to remove said cow.
1. Dept of Natural Resoures, handles only wild animals
2. Environmental Protection said it wasn't harming the environment.
3. Agriculture Department called it a "local' issue.
4. Regional water board, said it was above the water line and not in the water.
5. Divison of Highways, 5 weeks later contacted the Local Volunteer Fire Fighters who went out the same day and removed the corpse. |
