| Greenburg, Indiana. HONDA MOTOR COMPANY, will build a $ 550 million Dollar Auto Assembly plant near Greenburg, Ind. as part of a 1.8 Billion Dollar Global Expansion. Factory will employ 2,000 workers and has set it's production goal when complete to 200,000 vehicles annually. The Japanese Auto maker said last May that it planned to build it's 6th North American plant in the Midwest. Officials from: OHIO-INDIANA-MICHIGAN-ILLINOIS- and WISCONSIN promoted sites in their states. This further presses my point just how each state is so very different. |
| 02/17/06 Under a bill unanimously passed by the Indiana State Senate, Every sex offender in Indiana would be placed on a lifetime parole. The bill also requires sex offenders with previous convictions to wear a tracking device as a condition of lifetime parole. |

Developers of the French Lick Springs Resort thus spent $385 Million on a plush "Riverboat" casino on a manmade lake barely larger than the boat, and it opened Nov 2nd 2006 |

| Medaryville,Indiana.- a Prison Work Camp in Jasper-Pulaski Wildlife Area will close this summer of 2007- Because of Federal Restrictions on use of the land, the dept of correction said. the 142-bed, Minimum-security Medaryville Correction facility was paid for with federal funds. The DOC chose to close the work camp rather than buy adjacent property for the narture preserve. |
