"LUTHER" 1/2 pound of hamburger meat served with bacon and cheese on a Krispy Kreme doughnut. |
| Is it any wonder, Georgia is also the same place Cabbage Patch Dolls were inspired and created by a local boy? I spoke a few times with that man in CLEVELAND, GEORGIA. who made the very first Cabbage Patch doll, He asked that his name not be used . I replied "but everybody in town knows who you are". "Why you even built a special hospital for children all over the world to bring their dolls in for free to be "healed". and your picture and name are right out front! Yea!, he said," that's just family". Whom by the way were hyis inspiration for the Cabbage Patch dolls. And it's true they all really do look like the dolls. Finally, he said I could'nt use his name but I could use the first letter in his name."(X)". (go figure.) "X's", momma spent all her waken days and nights quilten quilts just so's she could sell em to make money to give me to make the first set of dolls to sell. "X", is a great big man who loves his Krispy Kreme doughnuts.But his heart's even bigger. He has a 3rd grade education, still works in the same factory his daddy worked in all his life. he's very rich, has his own Limo, can't drive so he walks five miles to work and catches a ride home in the back of a pickup truck in the evenings. Asked him if being wealthy has changed his life any/ He said I bought mama a brand new roof and it's worth more than the house it self. Got me seven pair of bib overall's So I can wear a clean pair each day of the week. |
