* June 19th-July 4th Vicksburg (Siege of)

The 2nd Mich. is 2 miles back from the river from Snyder�s Bluff and about 15 miles from Vicksburgh. The Regiment is posted to the North along the Yazoo River. They are guarding against any attempts by General Joseph E. Johnston�s Confederate forces to relieve the besieged city.
