Dedicated: 7 September 1958

The London England Temple serves more than 83,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 22 stakes and three missions in England and Wales.

The London England Temple was Europes second temple, after the Bern Switzerland Temple. The London temple grounds include an Elizabethan era farmhouse, which was once used as a missionary training center. On the north side of the property is Pilgrims' Way, made famous in Chaucers "Canterbury Tales."
The Merton College Chapel has been a place of prayer and worship to God for more than 700 years.

It was built in stages in the latter part of the 13th century.  The view above is the Quire as it appears today.

Please feel free to spend as much time as you need.

God bless you.
