Haz-Matt Racing
Haz-Matt racing has been racing VW GTi 16vs since 1996.  The original car suffered a few too many "encounters" and had to go to the big race track in the sky.  After several months of decision making, the concept was borne to create the General Li - named after some Southern Chinese general of dubious origins and questionable taste.

The General Li was, just as the car before it, based on a 1987 VW GTi 16v.  This particular chassis came from a friend who logged 227K miles and finally decided to upgrade to a less-used car.  The
custom cage and seat installation came from Kearney's Automotive (301) 322-3240.  The seat is a Butler and was provided thru RC Imports who also provided the fire system.
