Why did you choose a job/career in this field?

 

Fountain Tire conducted an information session at the U of A for the position they were hiring for.  The two Fountain Tire associates that put on the information session did a great job of getting many students out for the session and they encouraged everyone to apply.  The Fountain Tire associates appeared to be great guys that loved their job and had fun doing it.  Therefore, I applied.  I did not set out to apply for any job in any particular field.  I more or less studied the company. 

 

 

 

How did you find your job/Career?

 

Through the U of A.  In fact the first time I applied at Fountain Tire, I did not get hired.  Someone else was better suited for the position at the time.  However, Fountain Tire kept me in mind based on the first set of interviews I had with them and they called me back and I was working for them  one year later.

 

 

 

What suggestions could you give to those out there who would like to work for the same company or are looking to make a similar career move?

 

Research our company.  Understand why you would like to work for the company and how does the company's values align with yours.  We post all positions for the company on our website at www.fountaintire.com
