Matthew 27: 26-32
Then Pilate released Barabbas to the people.
And when they had Scourged Jesus,
Pilate delivered Him to be Crucified.
And after the Soldiers had
Mocked Him,
They took the Scarlet Robe
off Him,
Put His own Clothes on Him,
and they platted
a Crown of Thorns
for His head.
Then they led Him away to
be Crucified.
Now, They found a man of
Cyrene, ~ Simon;
Who was Compelled to Bear
His Cross
Luke
23: 27-38
And a great Multitude of
the People followed Jesus.
Two other Criminals were
led with Him to be put to Death.
And when They had come to a Place called Golgotha.
They gave Him vinegar mingled with Gall.
Then They Crucified Him and the Criminals.
Jesus said,
"Father Forgive Them,
For They Know Not What
They Do."
Then the Soldiers parted
His Raiment, and Cast Lots.
An Inscription was put on the Cross:
THIS IS JESUS,- THE KING OF THE JEWS
" And it was about the Sixth
Hour,
and there was a Darkness
over all the Earth until
the Ninth Hour.
And the Sun was Darkened,
And the Veil of the Temple
was rent in Midst.
And Jesus had Cried with
a loud Voice,
FATHER, Into Thy Hands,
I Commend My Spirit:
And having Said thus, He
gave up the Ghost.

A Song
