ELEGY
OF THE HARP - MIDI
Matthew 26:57-75
And
those who laid hold of Jesus, in the Garden,
led
Him away to Caiaphas, the High Prist.
Now
the Chief Priests, the Elders and all the
Sanhedrin
Council
sought
false Testimony against Jesus,
to put
Him to Death, - but found None;
though
many false witnesses came forward.
Then
the Caiaphas stood up and said to Jesus,
"Are
you not going to answer? What is this testimony
that
these men are bringing against you?"
But
Jesus kept silent. And the High Priest said to Him,
"Tell
us if You are the Christ, The Son of the Living God."
And
Jesus said unto him, "It is as you said,
Nevertheless,
I say to you, hereafter you will see
The
Son of Man sitting at the Right Hand the Power
And
Coming on the Clouds of Heaven."
Then
the High Priest tore his Clothes, saying,
"He
has spoken Blasphemy! What do you think?
They
answered and said, "He is Deserving of
Death."
Then
they Spat on His Face and Beat Him.

PETER DENIES JESUS AND WEEPS
Matthew
26:69-75
Peter
followed Jesus at a distance, right up to the Courtyard
of the
High Priest.
He entered
and sat down with the Guards to see the
outcome
of the trial.
After courageously fighting for The Lord in the Garden before,
He denied
3 times that he Knew Jesus,
when
ask by the Guards,
Followed
by the rooster crowing,
THEN-
Peter remembered the Words of Jesus
Who
said to him,
"Before
the Rooster Crows, you will deny Me - 3 times."
So Peter
went out and Wept bitterly.
