Wellness is the state of being healthy.  This course is focused on providing information that will help students develop healthy lifestyles.  Wellness emphasizes achieving a state of physical, mental and social well-being rather than treating illness.  Basic principles include regular exercise, balanced nutrition, stress management, refusal skills, positive socializing, and constructive communication.

The curriculum includes medical technology.  Students will learn about health careers, personalized medicine, and modern treatments for a variety of diseases.
