| Yes, finally back with a bit of news. Some of you have been asking me about what's up with Olivier and Mira Sorvino. Well, apparently they have split (according to Access Hollywood and a couple of articles, including one in the UK tabloid, The Sun). I had noticed that Olivier hadn't been showing up to certain events with Mira, so that wasn't a total surprise to me. What's more, he's now supposedly going out with Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue. Go here to read an article about it with a couple of pictures of the two of them at a party. Here's another article, also from the UK SUN, from sometime last week. And there was a short blurb Wednesday in the Chicago Sun-Times about the two, which you can read here (you'll have to scroll down a bit to see it).
It also looks like two of Olivier's movies are coming out on DVD in the near future. According to Amazon.com, The Horseman on the Roof DVD will be available June 3, 2003, for $14.99. Unfortunately they didn't give any information on what special features (if any) will be available. Even more exciting, Bullfighter (one of Olivier's first English-language movies, though it never had a theatrical release) will be released on DVD April 22, 2003. Amazon.com doesn't have much information on it yet, but you can check here to see what they have to say. Apparently Olivier has done an ad for Armani (which could be seen in Esquire magazine as of late January); you can see a picture at this Olivier Yahoo! Group. You'll need to be a member to see the pictures, but it's easy and free to join, and they have a lot of great pictures there, so it's worth it. Olivier is also in the February edition of Playgirl magazine -- no posing, just an interview ;). If anyone has a scan of the interview, please feel free to send it my way :). Other than that, I have a few links to interviews and short articles to put up. When I do, you'll find links to them in the Updates section. |

| I think I may have found the official (Spanish) site for La Ciudad de los Prodigios. If I find anything worth translating then perhaps I will give it a go.
Speaking of La Ciudad, it looks like you can buy it on DVD from this Spanish site for about 24 euros (which is roughly equivalent to 24 dollars). Last Tuesday Olivier went to the Los Angeles premiere of "Chicago" with his girlfriend Mira Sorvino. To see pictures you can go to WireImage.com and do a search for Olivier. There are also pictures up at this Yahoo! Group (you need to be a member to see them). |

| The Internet Movie Database has added a Spanish movie called Nosotras ("us" in Spanish) to Olivier's filmography. It looks like he might have had a small role, judging from where his name appears on the cast list. |

| The Internet Movie Database has finally added S.W.A.T. to Olivier's filmography. According to them, S.W.A.T. should be released in August 2003 (although elsewhere I've seen other release dates, so who knows), and filming will start Oct. 19, in Los Angeles. |

| Before Night Falls will be shown again, this time on the TRUE channel, Tuesday, October 8, 9:35 pm - 11:50 pm (this is most likely Eastern Time).
Mira Sorvino will be on a couple of talk shows this week, presumably to promote The Grey Zone, her latest movie. There's always a chance that she'll mention Olivier, although I don't think she has in the past. Anyway, she will be on The View (ABC) Wednesday, October 9, and The Caroline Rhea Show Thursday, October 10 (apparently she will not be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as I had previously thought). |

| Yay! Finally, some news about Olivier's next project. He will be in S.W.A.T., an adaptation of the television series, alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Ferrell. Not bad, huh? Filming is supposed to start in October, and the projected release date is May 2003 for us here in the United States. An article about the movie (in French) can be found here. | No definitive news, but I have heard from some of the folks over at the loveoliviermartinez Yahoo Group that the DVD/video for Unfaithful may be coming out as early as October or as late as January, and that apparently the Showtime movie The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone is to be shown some time in January, as well. I haven't been able to find any of this information for myself, but as soon as I know something, I'll be putting it here. |

| Unfortunately, I haven't heard much about what's going on with Olivier at the moment. What I do know is that he recently participated in a Showtime movie called The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, in which he plays an Italian gigolo. You can check out the info the IMDB website has on it here. |
