THE CONTINUING SAGA OF THE STEVENSON STUNNER CLUB!!!!
THE YOYO THAT IS JEREMY
Jeremy was called up again before I got to redisplay the signage, so Friday night was sad, even though Ducks beat Philly...On saturday, the fan club got a surprise when the Mad Dog was spotted in the Gardens...On Sunday, he was back, playing in Cincy's win over Philly....it was great, except for one thing....The silent jersey auction...I bid on JS's away jersey and Jason bid on the home.  We were outbid by some @$$hole who decided he was going to buy the jerseys and sell them for 40 bucks over the price he paid...I was fired up, especially since he seemed to have inroads to the people running the auction, the ducks foundation, and these words came from him....I was very p.o.ed, and this idiot had better not get in our way next year...I dont mind losing, but, i hate to get screwed by a dealer who is only in it for money....this should be for fans, not fakes....In a cooler note, the questions have been submitted to JS and he is answering them, and the Ducks gave an awesome poster featuring JS in a fighting pose.....Go Ducks
NEWS FROM 12/17 GAME
Jeremy notched an assist, and the fan club Christmas card was delivered unto him and his lovely wife....Stevenson got into some minor shoving matches, but no major fights...Our efforts to get him on the AllStar team failed, as Bob Wren, Dan Trebil, and Gregg were the only ones...Dan Trebil?  Anyway, the Ducks gained a tie, and we still are kicking butt...After the game, JS asked if the club was going down to Kentucky for game today, but we had to say no, as each member had work.....HOWEVER, WE WILL BE THERE  SUNDAY TO TAUNT THOSE KENSUCKY THOROUGHBLOWS!!!! BE PREPARED FOR NEW SIGNAGE.   The @$$ dealer was there again, offering to sell jerseys...what a buttnugget...also, this jerk was staring at us in the club, motioning to Don Helbig about us.....Oooh, what's Hellie gonna do, taunt us mercilessly?  If this jerk has a problem, lets settle it the old fashioned way, in the parking lot, no holds barred, in true Mad Dog fashion!!!   12/18/99
NEWS OF THE MAD DOG
The Man, Jeremy Stevenson, has returned to Cincinnati....It was stupid of them to call him up, because he mostly sat the bench anyway, at least let him play....Anaheim is notorious for such personnel mistakes, they better realize the great potential of the Stunner, as he can skate, score, and we all know he can kick some serious @*$!!  Well, hopefully with the Mad Dog, the Ducks of Cincy will start a winning streak...Of course, the signage will return to the Gardens and the Fan Club will be back in Full Force....Soon to follow on this site you can see an exclusive interview with the Mad Dog himself!!!!! Until then....GO DUCKS!!!!!
DUCKS IN TROUBLE, STEVENSON OUT...
Jeremy remains out with an injury, being day to day, but the Ducks want to rest him to get him fully healthy so he can play his usual physical game....he went out with a bang, though, beating the crap out of Louisville's cheapshot artist Thompson, who is  a joke also....JS was in the house 1/7/00, to watch the Ducks get beat by Hershey in a serious shellacking.....Before that, jeremy watched the Ducks lose to KY, and I was accosted again, this being 1/2/00...On Saturday, 1/8, the Ducks played Hartford, showing fire but losing 1-0....Moe is grating on my nerves, saying he wants 15 new players...Moe with all due respect, it is basically the same group of guys you had two weeks ago, so i do not want to hear your excuses for poor coaching....Payne is filling in nicely for Jeremy, having beat the hell out of Burnett 1/2 and being an enforcer...he is excellent, and is great...After the game on 1/7, JS gave me the responses to the questionnaire/interview i submitted.....the results are on this link......Lets hope Moe wakes up and the boys play behind him.....GO DUCKS
READ JEREMY'S INTERVIEW!!!!!!
LAYING THE SMACK DOWN!!!!!!!!!  (12/20/99)
The Ducks beat the hell out of the Blades, 5-3, and wiped up the ice with them in fights...however, convict Burnett had to get a cheap shot in on Marc, so he got hurt...JS scored two goals and was the #1 star of the game, and those sad thoroughblows wouldn't throw down, proving they fear the Mad Dog!!  During the closing minutes of the game, the PIGWOMEN decided they were going to get nasty, so they started taunting me...I answered in kind, and they called me out...I told them I wasnt going to waste effort to go over there, that I was right here....Typical thug mentality, they decided to get more retarded inbred Blades fans, a few old drunks, in on the action....They threatened me, but I refused to back down...They ran over to the blade locker room, saying they were going to make posters of burnett and stuff (what, they can write?  wow, kindergarten must work)..and I gave them the JS yappy signal...It is funny, those fans know where I go after games, but yet they did not stay to visit me afterwards...typical kentucky, all talk and no brains, no action, and no cohones!  GO DUCKS!!!!

MORE ANTIBLADES IRE!!!!!
I have just read the articles suggested on the Kirstens' site (two nice and very attractive ladies) and am appalled at the disgusting attitude of the Kentucky players....SO, I OFFER A CHALLENGE:  I will buy whichever Duck takes out either Garrett Burnett, Heins, or Friedman  dinner at the restaurant of their choice, and I mean more than a period.....I am wanting vengeance for the actions of the Blades, and taking out that big CANDYASS is as good a way as any.....I WAS PROUD TO SEE THE GUYS STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES....I CHALLENGE BURNETT TO THROW DOWN WITH STEVENSON, IF HE HAS THE GUTS....however, we all know he not only has no heart, but no balls as well!!!
HE'S BAAAAAAACK!!!!!!
Jeremy returned to action Friday 1/28 in a loss to the Bulldogs at Cincy...He played well, and physically, and got into a little clutch and grab match, throwing and landing a few punches....Welcome Back!!!
DUCKS BACK IN WINNING, JS SUFFERS INJURY......
The Ducks got back to winning, with a fresh goalie in net and renewed vigor, beating the Lowell team at home in a driving snowstorm, then travelling to KY to beat the arch nemesis TBlades in Rupp.  It was satisfying to see this turnaround, maybe due to the fact that Moe was not given a contract extension and there has been talk of a coaching change...Maybe this has lit a fire under the staff and players....Who cares!!! We won, darnit!!!  Ryan Hoople has provided stellar play, winning 3 of 4 decisions, while also giving Naumenko much needed rest.  Jeremy was continuing to skate strong and well until the KY game when he suffered a puck to the face, fracturing his spinal cavity.  Thankfully he will miss little games, if any...AND, TO THOSE OF YOU WHO SAID HE IS ANNOYED WITH THE CLUB, the issue will be settled tonight....stay tuned, and as always....GO DUCKS!!!    2/4/2000  In a sidenote, i recently acquired rare stevenson cards, from the Greensboro Monarchs and also his seventh inning sketch cards...if you know of any others, let me know!!!!
Ducks split weekend, AND JS LIKES US!!!
The Ducks were shutout by Brent Johnson and the Icecats on Friday, 2-0, in sloppy play by Wallin and Legault.  The man was out there, even with a fractured sinus cavity, wearing only a visor to protect him, and sacrificing himself as usual....after the game, I gave JS a note asking him if he would like us to back off, outlining what the internet rumor mill has said about him being annoyed and not liking us...On Saturday, the Ducks came back from a 3-1 deficit in the final seven minutes to win 4-3...JS faked out Mitchell for the RiverRats, making him look foolish..."He is young and doesn't know what he is doing" JS said after the game.  Mitchell was faked into dropping the gloves, but the ignorant ref, who has a history with Stevenson, gave JS a penalty...MORONIC OFFICIATING !!! AS USUAL!!However, this fired up the team and we went on to win.
Anyway, after the game, Mrs. Stevenson pulled me aside and said that she and JS were very appreciative and that the rumors were bull and had no basis in fact....Also, let me tell you, it made me feel good to have such a gracious and pretty lady talking to me like a human, even though I look like Belushi and Farley had a child....I almost cried then....Then JS comes out with a stick and surprises me with it, talking about how appreciative he is and that the rumormongers were full of it...Selena even said that Jeremy told her to come and look at what we had done for them.....I tried to play it cool, but as soon as they left, I shed a few tears...you have no idea how gratiffying it was to be vindicated and appreciated by two great and wonderful people, and it means the world to me and the club.....GO DUCKS!!! 2/6/2000
DUCKS TIE, THEN WIN THREE IN A ROW!!!!!
The Ducks tied Lville 4-4 on Friday 2/11, then promptly beat the Penguins in a rout...Jeremy had a goal and an assist in the winning effort, and Gregg Naumenko was huge in net for the Ducks in a 5-2 rout, but i was unable to be there, as my car broke down two blocks from the Gardens...grrr...On Monday, the Ducks were in Louisville and won 5-2, and Jeremy had YET ANOTHER POINT, earning an assist.....On Wednesday, the streaks continued, as the Ducks throttled the Hamilton Bulldogs, 5-1, with Gregg Naumenko playing huge again,  and Jeremy Stevenson notching TWO MORE POINTS, with a pair of assists....The Ducks are 6-1-1 in February and are close to catching Hershey...By the way, Mad Dog's homies, your cutsy messages were presented to Jeremy and there will be a reckoning....LOL....and to so called insiders who blurt out in message forums, SHADDUP!!!!  Also, Frankster, your message was given to JS and i hope he responds soon...Alas, it was great to watch the ducks win some more and i am even thinking of going to Lexington on Friday for the game vs. the hated tblades.....GO DUCKS!!!!!!
JEREMY STREAKING, DUCKS WHIP BLADES!!!!!!
No, JS did not do a takeoff on Ray Stevens's classic, "The Streak" but he is on a point scoring streak, having scored a point in his last 4 games...He scored his ninth goal of the season against the hated Blades, who were without their so-called tough guy Burnett (afraid of Payne, hmmm...I wonder).  Jeremy has tallied two goals during these past four games, and 4 assists....The AHL, as usual ignores Cincinnati talent, naming Nagy player of the week (who cares?)  Ryan Hoople was big in net for the Ducks, stopping 33/35 shots for the good guys....Also, the Ducks signed Jason Saal as an insurance policy as Gregg is getting sore (duh, having played a gazillion games, Moe!!!).  The Ducks will play four more games on the road before returning to the Gardens the 26 vs. the much hated Blades...JS is indeed making a late season charge by really showcasing his offensive abilities...Way to Go, Jeremy, and way to go Ducks!!!!    2/19/2000
DUCKS DOWN, JS OUT FOR A WHILE......
The Ducks have lost two in a row on their road trip, and Jeremy has been on the shelf nursing his injury from the puck to the face, evidently it was also a fractured cheekbone that is irritating him...Hopefully he will be back soon and be kicking butt as usual....Right now, the Ducks are down 1-0 at KY, but i hope they come back and win...see you at the game tomorrow..2/25/2000
DUCKS DOWN, JS RETURNS, DUCKS WIN
After a brief losing streak, which saw the return of Jeremy Stevenson, wearing a full face cage and having metal plates in his skull, the Ducks had a great weekend homestand, beating Syracuse in overtime 3-2...On Saturday, THE MAN tallied a goal in the Ducks 4-0 shellacking of Providence...It was a shot from just inside the left faceoff circle taht whitmore didnt see....Great weekend....Hope to see you all for the Next weekend game, as I will not be there wednesday, as I have finals this week....GO DUCKS!!!
3/5/2000
DUCKS END SEASON, JS ENDS ON DL....but goes out on high note.....
The Ducks ended their season with a loss to Kentucky, and Jeremy spent the last few games on the DL, with a reinjuring of his ab muscles, that may require surgery in the offseason...The first annual Stunner Club Smashmouth Awards were presented, with JS taking Most Inspirational Player and co-sharing Citizen of the Year....I just want to thank Jeremy for all the good times this year, in games and after, and for being a good friend and open to me doing this site and for supporting it and being so appreciative.....I hope you return next season, but wherever you end up, JS, know that you have made a permanent fan in Cincy and I wish you and Selena all the best...have a great summer...I hope you stop by and see some of the updates I will make as soon as I know your status for next season......Thanks for a great three years, and keep on playing your heart out and keeping the faith...you will make it, Dude!!!!!  The other winners for the awards were Bob Wren-MVP and citizen; Joel K.-Unsung Hero; Banham-citizen; Lloyd-citizen; Chouinard, Improved...Payne got Smackdown; Burnett and Heins got Mock Turtle Puss award.....Have a great summer, and cya next year!!! 4/12/00
