THE STEVENSON INTERVIEW...........

These Questions were submitted by the fan club to Jeremy Stevenson a few weeks ago, and after the game Jan. 7 2000, he gave us the reply to them, typing and word processing the answers...the club appreciates his kindness and willingness to answer our questions and put up with our goofiness....here are the questions and answers...Jeremy's answers and his comments will be in Black, the questions, and my misscellaneous comments, in purple.....Thanks Jeremy, and thanks for looking over this site.....GO DUCKS!!!!!!!

What are some of your favorites?

Hobbies:  Fishing, wakeboarding, [and the choice of all athletes] golfing.....

What is your lovely and extremely gracious wife's name?
Selena Stevenson  [pretty name]

What is the best thing(s) about Cincinnati?
(Besides the people) There is so much to do.  Casino, riverfront area, zoo, college basketball, concerts, and a lot of professional sports to see.....

Jeremy Stevenson, man, myth, legend, and a helluva nice guy, who spends great amounts of time with his fans and with the kids after games....Thank you on behalf of all hockey fans for being such a great influence and spirit among us......Good luck the rest of the year.....

What is the worst thing about Cincinnati?
The icy weather, although this year [so far] has been great.

Where did you grow up, having been born in California?
I was born in California, but moved to Canada when I was a year old.  Grew up in a small town up in northern Ontario called Elliot Lake.  I now reside in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

What was your most memorable fight?
My first fight in the NHL.  It was against Tony Twist....
Do you have any pregame superstitions or rituals?
I have a few rituals I do before games.  One would be arriving to the rink early each game.  Another would be that when I start to put on my equipment I put on the left side first.
What are your goals for 2000?
To win the Calder Cup.
What is your most memorable moment?
My most memorable moment would be my first NHL goal.  It was against Grant Fuhr, a goalie I watched growing up....
Who do you hang out with on the team?
I usually hang out with most of the team.  We usually do everything as a team.
Any pets?
I have a dog named Cody.  He's a German Shepard/ Doberman mix.
