If you make missiles you gotta test em, right?
Before we left, my dad gave me a handheld GPS. 
A Garmin  Summit.
And since it was overcast
and your footprints wash away so fast,
it was the first time  I really was able
to use the device to actually
get me back to my home base. 
Without the GPS,
this desert isn' t a place where you want to venture too far off the road.
