With so little room between houses, the closest place for the average resident to play hardball would have to be the the public road they reside on. Surely the local law enforcement would not approve of a good game of baseball going on in the middle of main roads. I thought about the local school fields, but then remembered quickly that I have been banished from those lands for taking a walk through a parking lot. That is why having a free of charge community park is such a great thing. People can go and enjoy the outdoors without fear of being hit by a car or vice versa. It's one place in the area where you don't have to worry if your typical outdoor activities are breaking the local ordinances. |

As I was walking through, I began to realize that there were more warning signs, rules and regulations being paraded around than a fast food coffee after public stupidity took yet another turn for the worse. |

As a result, it comes of no suprise to me that the fields are, in fact, empty. There are no ballgames being played. Sure, the leages tear it up in the summer with all their gaming, but when do you see the average citizen down playing catch? |

It's almost as if people fear going to the park to spend their free time. There are no kids on the swings. The tables are all empty. The rules of the tennis courts govern their empty neighborhood like a cross to evil. |

So then how do people spend their free time? |
