Garbage - Beautiful Garbage
Reviewed by o_O^

This sucks - Save your money -Download the few goods songs on it instead - Seriously people - This album is supposed to be their "pop endeavour" and it sucks as much as most pop itself. I keep on telling myself this is not a new album but a collection of B-sides Shirley, Butch et all put together after getting drunk one nite and having an orgy with Finnish Dwarves/Golbez.

In a nutshell - If suckiness could get any suckier - this would be it!

Metallica - Ride the Lightning

In the old days when Cliff Burton was alive - Metallica was good - there were no such things as mp3s and most metal heads had long hair. The only people with shaved heads were Neo-Nazis or Kojak throwbacks (there was also that chick from Star Trek: The Motion Picture but who cares about her).

This Album is a classic

  The Corrs - Unplugged
Reviewed by o_O^

The popular Irish group comprising of three really hot sisters and their dorky chaperone brother (who are known for putting out thin, weak, yet catchy pop tunes fused with traditional Celtic beats) put out one of the best unplugged albums to date. Somehow The Corrs SHOULD do nothing but unplugged music as far as I'm concerned - "Breathless" is cute and all - but nothing beats this (plus this is the best lovin' music about - even Jabba the Hutt could not fail at getting a chick into bed with this running in the background).

Bjork - Homogenic

Bjork Dortmundsdottir (I dare you to say that THREE times fast) is definitely NOT the girl you want to bring home to mom. She puts out some of the weirdest music ever - Sometimes it's incredible - and sometimes it's so damn weird you want to pick up a hockey stick and beat your neighbour's cat with it.

This album is a gem - it's absolutely beautiful (which means Bjork wasnt high when she made it and the neighbours cat is safe till her next studio session).

  Link Park - Hybrid Park
Reviewed by Kracker
With new listeners yearning for new music, the eruption of punk has risen. And now, techno-punk. This raging band has risen from the sadomites to the top of the ranks with Hybrid Theory, an album that is as weird as it's title. However, the music is full of anger and distemperment, and also, full of damn good beats and catchy lyrics that get your blood pumping and your attitude sparked. This is a must; and it's also the reason why I'm seeing the Family Values Tour in nine days.

  Tool - Lateralus
Reviewed by Yohji
This was the first Tool album i bought and i absolutely loved it. I afterwards bought aenema. And when i compared the two i found "Lateralus" to be a lot more melodic. If you buy this it is well worth the money. The songs are incredibly well written and Maynard James Keenan really shows his ability to sing. It also demonstrates the *Insert drummers name here* abilities and Justin (or whatever the bassists name is) abilities also

  Texas - The Hush

This album is gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood - That's all i can really say about it. Sharleen Spiteri's sophisticated voice and imamculate songwriting with Johnny McElhone make this one of the most refined albums ever written. The Scottish group has really outdone itself - Tagged as an alternative band - I think they are more or less Adult-alternative than anything else. This album has so much variety - this was probably what Shirely and company were trying to mimic with Beautiful Garbage.

Want to impress everyone with your new found sophistication - Shed your trailor trash skin and get this album now. Yoko Kanno is amazing! Who would have guessed this is a soundtrack to a cartoon. Words cannot describe how much variety this album has - It's immediately in automatic Top 5.

."Yeah - I listen to this Japanese Opera stuff with techno in the background: -I'm like too refined for you all - You may not hang-out with me from now!"

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
Reviewed by palom
Everyone in the music industry and then some hailed this cd for a reason... and now I know why, personally, to be exact. This is one of the best british psychedelia cds I've ever had the pleasure of reviewing. If you don't recognize the hits 'Time' and 'Money', you my friend are sorely in need of some relaxation. Dark Side also has other tracks that should be therapeuticly listened to 2 times a week... If you're a first time Pink Floyd collector like I am , Dark Side Of The Moon is definitely the first one you should get it..Get it before The Wall.

The duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass have plenty to talk about... This self-titled effort gives 'Kage' and 'Jables' plenty of room to rock out and kick everyone's ass... with 20 pure tracks of comedic assault rock! Example hits such as Fuck Her Gently, Wonderboy, Dio, Tribute and Kielbasa will make you happy that they've righeously proclaimed themselves to be 'the greatest band on the face of the Earth'. Salute your local record store clerk if they recommend this cd to you, as it's a piece of pure brilliance. This includes all you Ween fans reading this, and especially you, the visitor of the site.

For those of you who left the live version of Outside on repeat in your car stereo's, Staind has done it again. The smash single It's Been Awhile made this record go multi-platinum and hold number one on the charts for 2 months. The rest of the cd is fairly well done, as well as a studio version of Outside are what makes this cd a keeper. These guys are playing after Linkin Park come next Tuesday. And it's going to be great...

Disregarding the the fact that this album is a six time platinum seller, one would look at the cover and say, "wtf is this shit?!" However, when you throw it into cd player, you're enticed to believe that this is one of the greatest rock albums of our generation. I first got this cd and left it in the player all the way to Mytrle Beach. I couldn't get enough. The following spring, the concert was upon me, and I was once again hooked on the cd. This is a must have for all rock lovers; it's a ginuine band making ginuine rock. No kiddy shit here.
