 | We appreciate your interest in our 2001-breedng program. There is 22 years of serious breeding and culling behind our herd to reach the level of quality you see today. We have been consistently upgrading our herd to what we feel are superior animals of both type and production. Animals of our breeding program have consistently been GCH,BOB,BUB,BUIS,BDIS,BBIS, and have won production awards at local, State, and National Levels. Four does of our breeding program have made it to top ten listing for breed leader. Our herd has been on continual D.H.I.R test sense 1984. Animals of our breedings have attended 11 National Shows and continued to place top 10 of their class. Our herd has been appraised 10 times and HES evaluated once. In 1994 we had the honor to see GCH MEYER'S CAJUN CLEOPATRA 1*M named Res. National Champion and Best Udder Lamancha. We also had the first placer dairy herd at that show. 1995 GCH MEYER'S HCLK SUNNY TIARA 3*M won the honor of being Res. National Champion. Our herd was also named Premier Breeder and Exhibitor for the Lamancha breed and runner up for the Premier Exhibitor for the entire show!!!!! A $75 deposit is required to reserve your choice for a 2001 kid. All health papers and related costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Health papers include general health, TB, Brucilosis, and run about $45.00. CAE and Blood typing at request, and at the buyers expense. Shipping out of Boise Idaho on either Delta Dash or Horizon air runs from $175 to $285. We also charge a $45 delivery fee to the airport, as it is a 220 mile round trip for us. All kids are started on cow colostrum and raised on a strict CAE prevention program. Our herd has been on this program sense 1983. If your kid is not CAE tested before leaving our herd we require you test is within 60 days of entering your herd. Kids tested after 60 days have been in your herd long enough to be exposed. Vaccines given are; C&D, Tetanus, BO-SE, and wormed. Boarding fee of $1.00 a day will be applied to all kids reserved and remaining after 4 weeks of age.
In selecting your purchase please make a first, second, and third choice with freshening dates
corresponding. We are proud of the animals we breed and guaranty them to be genetically sound if sold
as such. If an animal is suspected of being genetically unsound it will be replaced when we receive a written statement from the buyer accompanied by a statement from a Licensed Vet stating their findings. We also require
no offspring to be registered from an animal found to be genetically unsound.
In order to keep our herd size manageable we will be selling several milkers this spring. Most will be 1st fresheners. Please contact us in early March for a listing of these does. Our herd will have ultra sound done as soon as our breedings have finished. We will code each doe with the finding of this ultra sound after it has been done. Codes for this are listed below.
