Hola! Comencé a coleccionar placas de auto de EU y Canadá en 1986. Pensaba entonces que yo era el único loco que se fijaba en la placas. Conseguí muchas compradas, regaladas o por intercambio. En 1998 descubrí en Internet que había más locos como yo (pocos en México!). Desde entonces mi colección ha crecido gracias al intercambio con ellos. Navegando en la red, me di cuenta que ningún coleccionista tenía imágenes de todas las placas mexicanas. Fue así como tuve la idea de crear un sitio dedicado a las placas de este país.

También colecciono mapas (me encanta la geografía), idiomas (hablo cuatro), parientes (investigo mi genealogía) y música de mil estilos. Siempre he trabajado en los medios y para mí las placas son otra forma de comunicar la historia y geografía.

     Hello! I started collecting US and Canada license plates in 1986. Then I thought I was the only crazy guy that liked plates. I got many buying them, as a gift or by exchange. In 1998 I discovered in Internet more crazy people like me (few in Mexico!). Since then my collection has grown thanks to exchanges with them. Surfing the net, I realized there was no collector with images of all Mexican plates. That's how I got the idea of a site dedicated to the plates from this country.

I also collect maps (I love geography), languages (I speak four), relatives (researching my genealogy) and music from a thousand styles. I have always worked on media and to me plates are another way to communicate history and geography.
