Thanks for stopping by!
Name's Matt. "Mett cdn" on the boards. I'm a University Student at Carleton
University in Ottawa. Originally from Richmond Hill, Ontario (just north of
Toronto), Canada. Fairly new to the figure collecting hobby and enjoying every
minute. My collection tries to focus on the "realistic" figures. I
like scale models, but for the life of me couldn't build one if my life depended
on it. So these figures are a much easier alternative! I'm a
big fan of historical accuracy and realism, so I don't think of these figures
as models more then toys. You won't find any GI Joes from the 60's
around here, rather stuff from Dragon and BBi, two companies who have definately
shown off their talent for manufacturing realistic and highly detailed figures!
:)
I'm putting my collection online for all to see, so that more can get out
of it. This page is just a start, but I'll try to get it to grow. If you want
to know what comes with a figure, etc. Then just check out the "Stand Alone
Figures" below. Any kitbashing, etc, has been noted so you know if
my figures have changed from what's in the box. The "Diorama / Photo
Shoot" shots are just pictures I've taken of my figures outside, in a more
realistic environment. The focus of my collection is World War Two,
specifically the Normandy Invasion, so a lot of pictures revolve around units
and actions of that event.

Never
heard of 1:6 figures before? Interested? I recommend the following
links:
My Canadian One
Sixth Hobby Club - site hosted by Joe (Lost Tourist), some great collectors
from Canada and abroad. Includes links to retailers, members pages,
and more.
Ottawa 1:6 Club - site for
collectors in the Ottawa area. Pretty active group with meetings to
show off our collections and photo shoots.
The Sixth Division -
Online forum for collectors who like to specialize in World War Two. Lots
of information on a variety of related topics.
OSW Forums - One
Sixth Warrior forums. An online message board for collectors of all
eras of figures.
CVI Insignia - Custom insignia
for your figures. A number of mine have them and I'm sure I'll be using
their sets for a time to come. Look who's digging a foxhole on their
front page :)
That's it for now. I appreciate any comments you may have, I can be
reached via email or I'll catch you
at one of the links above.
