| OBJECTIVE: Completion Percentage and Game Endings |
| First of all, there are three different endings to the game. It does not matter how quickly you finish the game. You could take forever to beat the game and still get the best ending. Which ending you get is determined by how many items you get. This includes missile expansions, energy tanks, and power bomb expansions. For more information on where these are and how to get them, see the items page. You can always tell how close you are to getting the best ending by looking at your save file. A percentage will be displayed. You may have noticed that there are exactly 100 items to get, so each one counts for 1%. Some say that there is a glitch that makes one item count for zero and one count for 2%, but I never noticed it. Worst Ending: Less than 75% Normal Ending: From 75% to 99% Best Ending: Exactly 100% - No less! Also, if you get 100% of the items in the game, you unlock Image Gallery #4. |
